New Friends 1 - Chapter 2

Clementine POV

My Alarm goes off.

Clem: Ugh I don't want to stand up.

But anyway I have to stand up, because I don't want to get late at my first day of school.
So I get in the shower and head down in the kitchen to eat something.
My Mom already is there and cooks some bacon and eggs.

Diana: Good Morning Clem!

Clem: Good Morning Mom...

Diana: Wow you're in a bad mood. You should be happy to have school again

Clem: Yeah... Totally😒

Then I see in the corner of my eye, that Sam has nothing to eat. So I stop eating and give him his delicious dog food.
Then I started again and finish eating.
Then I head out of the house and there already was Gabe. I was confused. Then I remembered, he asked me yesterday, if he could walk with me. He is totally happy... This is scary I mean we have school today.

Gabe: Good Morning, Clem!

Clem: Good Morning, Gabe. Why are you so happy? I mean we have school.

Gabe: Well, I think I have a new friend, right?

Clem: Yeah I think so.

We started to walk. After a few minutes a boy walked behind us and tried to scare Gabe.

Clem: Watch out Gabe!

Boy: BOO!!!

Gabe: AHH!! Goddammit Drew! Never do that again! Anyway Good Morning Drew!

Drew: Yeah Good Morning Buddy. Who's your girlfriend here?

Why does everybody thinks I'm his girlfriend?
We both started to blush. Why is he blushing? And more important: Why am I blushing?

Gabe: N-N-No she is not my
g-girlfriend. Why is everybody asking that? Anyway Clem this is Drew. Drew this is Clementine but you can call her Clem.

Drew: Nice to meet you "Not Gabes
g-girlfriend" Clem.

Ok I will try to ignore this.

Clem: Nice to meet you too Casper the friendly ghost!

Gabe laughed.

Gabe: Nice one Clem! High Five!

I high-fived him.

Now we are at the school. I don't want to go inside. I hesitated with opening the door. But then I open it.
I instantly regret it, because Mr. Everett (he is my godfather) jumped right in front of me and shouted

Lee: HEY SWEETPEA!

Clem: Hey Lee...

Gabe: Clem you know him?

Clem: Yeah he is my godfather.

Gabe: Wow he is the second coolest teacher at the school.

Clem: And who is the coolest?

Drew: Mr. Lingard he is literally always high. So he is the "coolest".

Clem: Wow. I go take my schedule.

Gabe: Ok I come with you.

Clem: You don't have to do this, you know?

Gabe: Yep but I want to!

Clem: Ok fine

I got my schedule and looked at it.

I have Spanish with Mr. Garcia,
Health with Mrs. Eleanor Mr. Lingard,
Sports with Mr. Monroe,
History with Mr. Everett.
Art/Music with Mr. Young (Luke)

Gabe looked at my schedule.

Gabe: Wow! I'm always with you.

Clem: Yeah that's cool.
