My Doc is Pretty Possessive

Chapter 25

Tiana P. O. V

"No, no I want everything in details. That's not fair", belle said whining like a kid. I told her that Dylan proposed me and we're together now but she won't settle with that information. And i'm not someone who likes to tell stories in every detail. I was already late for work this morning and I don't want to sit here and goof about my date night.

Talking about this morning, Dylan made breakfast for both of us. Then he took me to my hostel to collect my stuffs and to change my dress so that we could go for work together. Every little thing he does melts my heart more.

I don't want to rush things, or tell him that I love him too. I want to take things slow, take my time so that I don't get hurt again.

"I asked you the details not to reminisce those moments", she frowned waiting for me to elaborate more. I laughed at her.

"Okay, but later or maybe during lunch. We have to work for now".

We did usual rounds and treated the patients from other wards too since some of us were absent today. I'm already hungry and it seems like time is running very slow. Since morning I haven't seen Dylan, he must be busy in the operation room. Moreover he has to check over the students. I wonder how he manages to work all day,everyday and still stays cool like he did nothing at all. Stamina!

Who said being a doc is easy! Study our asses out and then work all day. But, but I love my profession.

I was checking a patient in General Ward when a nurse came and called me.

"Dr. Ena Someone is waiting for you at the counter block", she came in fully dressed in her uniform.

"Okay, thank you", I smiled.

Who might be here to visit me now?

I checked the time and finished up my work. I then called up belle,

"Yeah, wait for me at the canteen. I'll see you there soon"

"Okay, but come soon I won't wait for long"

I hanged up the call and rushed downstairs.

"What are you both doing here? Are you on a leave?", I asked Kay.

"We came to check on you Ena. You promised Kay to visit us every weekend which never came", Kay's mom answered me laughing and I went to hug her both.

"Eh! I'm so sorry, I was just busy with works here", I said feeling sorry.

"It's OK sweety, you are welcome anytime", she said smiling warmly holding my hands.

I miss mom.

"Don't you have duty today?", I asked Kay.

"I took leave today for mom's work and we were passing by so I thought I'd come to see you since you don't visit us", Kay said. We took a seat on the other side. Her mom went outside leaving me and Kay.
Before I could say anything I saw Dylan and Jason walking through the entrance.

Not now!

Kay was busy talking about her hospital and works. But my mind was occupied already. And not being my lucky day he spotted me and walked towards us.

"What are you doing here?", he asked me tilting his head waiting for me to answer.

"Um, Meet kay my friend and Kay this is Dylan. He's my senior and this is Jason. He's our senior too", I said awkwardly not mentioning anything.
Dylan look at me with no expression.
They shook hands and the atmosphere was tensed.
