"Yes mom, I will try to come home soon", I ended the call.

I'm still sitting inside my car outside the hospital. Being a senior doc is also hectic.

The chairman of this hospital who is also my Grandfather told me to conduct the interview today. I refused it having no time.

I got out from my car heading to the entrance when I saw a girl walking in front of me. SMELL. She smells amazing. Her hair is straight and long. She's wearing a pant and a white top which looks neat.Her back itself is pretty. She has a file on her hand which means she came for interview. I was busy checking her out when suddenly she bumped into one of my colleague. He looked back to say sorry but she hurriedly went to counter.

"Hey man, seems like were going to have some hot chic in our hospital", Jason said.

"Stop checking out on girls, we're here to work"

"Dude, I saw you too checking out on her. Don't act",He said with the look 'I caught you boy'.

Was I checking out on her?  Really? When was the last time you checked out a girl? 

"Come on, we're already late"

"Good morning Mr.Marshall", the lady Mrs.Lina wished me. She has been working here for more than five years.

"Good morning too"

I always talk less in workplace unless it's canteen.I'm hungry I didn't had breakfast yet.

I entered my assigned Ward. Neurology Ward. I've been here for past few days. The juniors here are better than the previous one.

I went and did regular rounds, checking on the new interne and students. This hospital is attached to Medical college too.

"Good morning sir", the girl wished me as I crossed her. She might be new student else she'd know I should be addressed as doc and not sir.

"Doc not sir, Tell your friends to get ready at 10:00".

I entered my cabin.I then saw that same girl  calling up someone.She might have got selected since i saw her jumping.
Good.

Good? Whats good in that?

Because someone caught your eye.My inner self told.
 
*knock*

"May i come in Doc",the head nurse entered.

"Yeah,tell Dr.Steve to handle today's duty. I'll be going home soon", and I dismissed her.

I checked the case sheets before leaving to avoid any serious conditions. Medical field is one where careless is strictly not allowed. A mere careless can cause someones life.

I thought of going home today or else mom won't stop bugging me.
But first I'll have breakfast. My most important meal.

I went to canteen and ordered omelete, coffee, Bacon, and bread toast. That's all!!

"You already forgot your home",my mom squeezed me like she didn't saw me for years.

"It's only been a week mom", I replied in monotone. My mom can be a drama queen sometimes.

I know she feel alone sometimes since she's the only one at home all the time. My sister is already married. My younger brother is still studying in abroad with my dad. My dad is a surgeon.He always asks my mom to stay with them. But my mom loves to stay here.
