~Chapter 3~
(Ashley's pov.)
Where am I??? Why am I on a couch? Omg why do I feel like I've been hit by a train and haven't gotten up for two years?? And then it all came back, the dark fog, misty up in the tree. Just thinking about it makes me whimper.
That's when I hear something that scares me half to death.
"guys I think she's waking up," I hear someone whisper.
I open my eyes to see what I think is about 4 extremely hot guys all looking at me from my spot on the couch. But my vision is blurry so at first I thought there were 4 sets of twins in front of me.
I open my mouth to scream when the younger looking one with blue eyes and short, dark almost black hair whispers quietly "please don't scream please I beg you. We won't hurt you we just found you in the woods pasted out."
"Where am I?????" I ask with a scratchy voice looking at the boys.
"Well your at our home" a boy with brown eyes and pitch black hair tells me.
"and where is your home?" I ask
"far in the woods" the oldest looking one with piercing green eyes and blond hair tells me.
"Oh" was my only reply.
And the room falls silent for the longest times. And then finally the last boy that has brown hair but his eyes were bleu.
"Well while these idiots stare I'll do introductions I guess."
I finally look at them enough to notice their all in cutoffs and t-shirts.
"well I'm Aaron" said the one with light brown hair and blue eyes. "this is Zaide" Aaron said pointing to the younger one with blue eyes and short, dark almost black hair. Zaide gave me a little smile and a small wave. "this is Shane" he said pointing to the older one with piercing green eyes and blond hair. "And that's Cain" he nodded to the last one with brown eyes and pitch black hair. "and then there's Caleb but he's outside somewhere. Oh and he's Cain's brother."
"Well it's nice to meet you all I'm Ashley." I gave a little wave.
"ya we know 'cause we didn't know when you were going to get up....so well we kind of went through your things and we called your house but there was no one there." Shane said.
"Oh well thank you guys for trying but I'm always home alone on week days." I said.
"REALLY!!!!" yelled Zaide.
"ya why what's wrong?????" I asked panicked.
"no! no! nothings wrong just you are so lucky I'm always stuck with these boring people." he explained.
"Ohhhhhh but you know what being alone can get very boring I grew up just me and mom, no dad or siblings. It got really boring a lot of the time."
"ya well I would rather be lonely then be stuck with these guys." Zaide answered.
"so how long have you guys been living out here?" I asked looking at Shane.
(Shane's pov.)
Crap!!!!! I knew if we started talking she would start asking questions and now we have to lie to her so she doesn't learn what we are.
"we've only been living out here for about a month Aaron, Cain and Caleb will be going to their new school next week at the high school her in town but Zaide is still in primary school so he'll be starting where he left off in grade 8." I said easily. The boys weren't planning to go back to school but now I guess they'll have to now.
"oh well that's awesome I could show you guys around on Monday." she said.
"awwww but that's no fair I'll be all alone at my school" Zaide said looking all sad.
"ya well tough luck kid next year you'll have everybody showing you around. Or would you like to go to work for me to get the money to feed you animals?" I asked.
"nope I'm good I'll stick to the 8th grade thank you very much." Zaide replied.
I had even forgotten what's her name was here till she said she should be heading home. At that moment Caleb finally had the guts to come in and join us.
"I'll go with her to make sure she gets home all right." Caleb suggested.
"ok then that's what we'll do. Caleb will walk you home." I said in a voice that the boys knew not to fight with.
