Chapter 11: First Kiss

Jimin's POV

When Seulgi and I got to the beach we went straight onto the pier for food since it was already 5:30pm, perfect time to eat! The sun was gonna set at around 8:00pm so we were gonna spend time on the pier till then before going down to be cheesy and watch the sunset on the beach.

There was a cute little café I've been to twice before so we went there to eat. They did pizza there and luckily that's exactly what Seulgi wanted, and coffee... I'm not sure Pizza and Coffee is a good mix but apparently she thought so!

Once we'd finished eating it was time to actually go to the little funfair that's always at the end of the pier, "thanks for the food ChimChim!" She used Jungkook's main nickname again...

Fuck off Jungkook... Get out my head... this is not our date... as much as I wish it was...

"Heh, it's ok. Let's go play some games for an hour before the sun sets!" I suggested and tried to block any thoughts of Jungkook from my head, like the way he smiles with his perfect teeth, his big, deep, hypnotising, chocolate eyes, the way his presence seems to instantly brighten my whole day... NO! STOP IT JIMIN!

Seulgi practically dragged me to the cute little Ferris wheel at the end, it was red, and had a cute bunny in the centre, also reminding me of Jungkook.

"Wait Seulgi I'm afraid of heights!" I shouted suddenly and pulled back, "aww cmon Jiminie I'll keep you safe ya big baby!" She laughed and I stood still in my tracks.

Jungkook wouldn't make me go on it... He said sorry earlier even when he had completely forgotten about my fear!

"No Seulgi, that's one thing I can't go on." I said sternly and she rolled her eyes, "fiiiinnne, you'll just have to win me that massive teddy bear to make up for it!"

She pointed to the stand where you have to throw balls to knock down cans. Basically to get the big one you have to knock them all down with just one ball.

"Ok, I'll try? I've always been pretty good at throwing, this could go pretty well!" I felt confident and she pulled me over to the counter, "1 ball please! He's gonna get me the big one!" Seulgi said proudly with a grin, "ha! Yeah good luck." The worker said sarcastically.

He handed me the ball and I started to aim, "I believe in you ChimChim!" Seulgi shouted, I suddenly felt off at the sound of Jungkook's nickname for me once again... but then it made me think of how supportive Jungkook is, and I used that to motivate me.

But then I felt angry... Because Jungkook would never love me... I'm pathetic...

I threw the ball hard and fast out of rage, to my surprise it whacked straight in the middle of the stack and knocked them all down!

"WOOOO I KNEW YOU'D DO IT!" Seulgi shouted and the mans jaw dropped... "okaayyy, here's your bear I guess..." he said in shock and handed Seulgi the plushie that was the same size as her.

"ITS SO FLUFFY IM GONNA DIIIEE!" She shouted and laughed, "Great reference!" I laughed with her and smiled, at least my rage was good for something!

We kept playing games and I kept winning stuff for her until it was 7:50. "Hey Jiminie, you wanna go to the beach now?" She asked and I nodded, "yeah, sure." I wrapped an arm around her shoulder and we walked down onto the sand by the water.

The sea was pretty calm so it was soothing to hear the waves gently rippling onto the sand, I laid back and looked at the sky that was a mix of oranges, reds and purples, I sighed of content and Seulgi laid beside me, "this has been great Jimin." She said softly and smiled at me.

"Mhmm" I agreed and closed my eyes, "the sunset is so pretty." She whispered, "and so are you." I replied, it was true, she was pretty, I just still didn't really like her in a romantic way...

Even though the sky was growing dark I still saw her blush, I sat up and looked out to sea just as the sun started to disappear, "even though this morning wasn't great for me, I'm glad today ended on a good note." I smiled and turned to face her.

She started to lean forwards and my heart rate sped up, do I kiss her? Or would that be a mistake? I don't know!?

Before I had any time to change my mind I leant forward and my lips met hers, she kissed back and it lasted about 10 seconds and that's all, before we both pulled back, she re-opened her eyes and grinned at me, before we both looked back out to the sea and she rested her head on my shoulder...

I bet Jungkook would kiss better than her...

But Jungkook is never gonna kiss me...

Maybe Seulgi is all I'll ever have...
