An Exciting Adventure

Jasmine's POV

      Tossing and turning in the night was normal for me. I could never get enough sleep, no matter how tired I was or how long I would be in bed. Tonight, on the other hand, it was exceptionally bad. I could not fall asleep for the life of me. It was near 3am, and I have been laying in bed since 11am. I was just too excited.. Tomorrow marks the day Drew and I go to California for a few weeks, because he was accepted to audition for the show Boy Band. I honestly don't know too much about it, but I know it is going to be fun, so why not tag along? Since tomorrow is such a big day for both of us, it's important to get good sleep, but it just isn't happening for me tonight. I sigh, and stretch my self out on the bed. I grab my phone, and text Drew, just to see if he is awake. 

Jasmine: Hey 

Drew: You should be asleep 

Jasmine: So should you :P  

Drew: I was until you texted me 

Jasmine: Whoops.. 

Jasmine: I can't sleep though :'(

*Read 3:13am* 

The sun shines through the curtains, bright and warm. I groan as my alarm goes off, I barely slept at ALL last night.  I rubbed my eyes, and dragged myself out of bed. While making the bed, I heard the doorbell ring. I slowly walk to the door, still half asleep;

"Hey Jazzy!!!! Are you ready or what!?" Drew's voice blasted into my ears, loud enough to make me jerk. Like I said, I was still half asleep. 

"Mmmmhm.." My voice trailed off, and I dragged myself back into my room, to finish making the bed. 

"Someone is still sleeping." Drew teased, and followed me into my bedroom. I had to quickly get ready and pack the rest of our things, our flight leaves in about 2 hours. Drew and I know we at least have to be there by 8:30, an hour before takeoff. I brush my teeth, and my hair, and decided I was ready to go. At this point, I really didn't care if I showed up to the hotel with Minnie Mouse pajama's on. I put the rest of my things in my suitcase, and looked at Drew.

"I'm so excited." I said with a blank expression on my face.

"Yeah you really show it Jaz." Drew laughed.  I really was excited but I was too burnt out to show true emotions. 

"Are you ready to go or what? The Uber is waiting outside." Drew exclaimed, pointing at the door. I grabbed my suitcase, and we walked out. I can't believe this is happening right now, I can't believe my best friend is going on TV. Oh my GOD..  

8:45am 

    We sit down at the airport, silently waiting for us to board the plane. I turn to look at Drew, in a daze, smiling. I cannot imagine how he is feeling right now, in a matter of weeks, he can be in a boy band. He is so talented too, just amazing. There is no doubt in my mind that he will make it to the finale. And I will be there with him, supporting him the whole way. We wait about another 20 minutes before we board the plane. I know the second I get settled in my seat, I will pass out. I am EXHAUSTED.

I have posted 4 chapters today, and hopefully I can post another 2 tomorrow :D
