Niall's POV

Louis had sent me inside the house while we were outside talking to Danny. He noticed that I was struggling on keeping the secret. I could usually always keep a secret but I felt a lot of pressure. There were a ton of cops outside and I didn't know what to do. I sat on the comfy couch waiting like a child. This secret is really a pain in the arse.

After a while Harry walled in. He tilted his head quickly telling me to follow him upstairs. We went inside Jane's room and he closed the door.

"What are we doing here?" I asked.

"Jane told me that we should wait for her here."

"Where's Louis?" Harry glanced behind him. He probably thought Louis was following behind him. He looked back at me and shrugged his shoulders.

"I guess he stayed outside with Jane." he assumed.

I sat on the edge of the bed looking down at Jane's black carpet. I found it pretty cool because it only went around and under her bed. Harry let out a heavy sigh and started ro walk back and forth kicking his feet. He seemed bored. I opened my mouth to start a conversation but closed it as soon as I heard noises downstairs. Harry and I stayed silent trying to listen to the faint noises. I couldn't here anything after a while.

"I guess it was nothing." I told Harry. He nodded agreeing with me.

I quickly stood from the bed. Our heads snapping towards the door. His green eyes and my blue eyes wide as we listened to an angry Louis screaming. I couldn't understand what he was shouting. The door blocked out every word he yelled. I heard Jane scream back equally harsh but I still couldn't make out their words. I rushed to the door and grabbed the knob only to be pulled back from Harry. I needed to know if Jane was okay. I wasn't going to let my best friend get hurt physically or verbally.

"Let go!" I growled at Harry.

"Believe me, you'll probably just make it worst."

I was going to stay until I heard a door slam from downstairs. I got out of Harry's grip and pulled the door open dashing out of the room.

"Niall!" Harry grunted from behind.

I ignored him and ran down the stairs. I went into the living room looking around. I spotted Jane knelt down on the floor infront of the front door. I rushed by her side wrapping my left arm around her and rubbed her arm with right hand.

"What happened? What's wrong?"

I tried to get an answer but it didn't work. She dropped her face into her palms shaking her head. She leaned into my chest as she cried. I hugged her tight as I stood her off the ground. Harry walked towards us. I made her head lean on his chest. I walked out the front door and onto the sidewalk.

"Louis!" I yelled angrily. I looked down the street left and right. There was no sight of him. He was gone.

He probably just broke up with Jane then bailed.

That jerk.

I went back inside to find Jane still crying into Harry's chest. I grabbed her hand tugging her lightly. I took her to her room with Harry following behind us. I sat her on the bed and scooted next to her while Harry stood at the door way. I pushed her black hair out of her face tucking it behind her ear. I wiped the tears off her cheek with the pad of my thumb.

"Everything will be okay. He doesn't know what he's missing." I comforted her in a hushed tone resting my hand on her knee.

"But it's my fault. I told him that we needed a break because I was angry. I didn't mean it. I wasn't thinking properly." She mumbled trying to hold back tears. I slightly sighed as I rubbed circles onto her back.
