Jane's POV

I looked around terrified. Louis was no where in sight and I'm pretty sure it's to late to rescue me now.

"Let me go!" I shout one last time as Danny pushes me into the back seat of the police car.

"Jane stop! You murdered people. You need to be punished."

He was right. I killed innocent people but still blamed it on them. For crying out loud, I even killed one of my closes friends! I deserve this. I sighed in defeat. Why should I even put up a fight? This was going to end up happening eventually. I should just let it happen now.

"I'll go with you." I lower my head. I had nothing else to say.

"Really?" He sounded surprised. " Thank you. I don't want this to be harder than it already is."

Danny got the handcuffs from the front of the car. I turn around and put my hands behind my back so he can slap the cold metal on to my wrists. He shuts the door and jogs around the car and sits in the driver seat. I sigh and rest my head on the plastic barrier between Danny and I. The backseat of a cop car is really uncomfortable but I have to deal with it. At least until we arrive at the police station.

My tense body softens from the smooth vibration of the car. I am still afraid for my consequences but I had it coming ever since I snapped my first victim's neck. I stared out the window as we drive down the street. The houses and cars became smaller as we went further down the street.

Louis.

He never showed up. My knight and shining armor didn't come to rescue me. Even if he was on his way right at this moment it will be to late. I can't turn back now. Even if I tried. The doors were locked and my hands were tied. Talking about tied hands, I wonder what will happen to Lexi and Hailey.

"What will happen to Lexi and Hailey?" I ask Danny hopeing he can hear me through the barrier.

"When we arrive at the station I will tell them to go get them. My radio is broken so I couldn't call for back-up." He let's out a deep sigh. "Bad day to leave my phone at home."

I stayed silent. I didn't know what else to say. What type of conversation would I even have with the man taking me to jail?

"You okay back there?" He asks.

"No." I answer honestly. I wasn't okay. I was far from it. I am turning myself in easy but that doesn't mean I want to. I just know if I fight back it will just get worse.

"I feel bad taking you to jail." Danny confesses.

"So...you won't?" I questioned. A smile tugging at my lips.

"I didn't say that. You're still going."

Damn. He gave me a sprinkle of hope then crushed it right infront of me. It's like he's teasing me. I humph and slouch down.

I jump and straighten up in my seat. This maniac had jumped infront of the car with his arms and legs spread apart. Danny hits the breaks making the car wheels screech.

"Jane!" The person yells from outside.

Huh? I lean in closer to try and get a better view on who it is.

I gasp and my brown eyes widen. It was easy to recognize him with his messy brown hair and beautiful blue greenish eyes.

"Louis? " I say puzzled under my breath. "Louis!" I yell back.

Danny got out the car with one foot still inside. Louis' chest was rising and falling quickly.

"Louis you can't do anything to help her. She is guilty and she's coming with me." Danny states. I don't want to go with Danny, I want to go back home with Louis.
