Louis' POV
That psycho. He took my girlfriend and threatened to run me over and by the looks of it he was keeping his word.
I was heading to Jane's house after she had texted me. I walked out my house the moment her name flashed across my screen. I didn't know how she felt but I was glad that she had started speaking to me again. From down the street I was able to see her house door wide open. I then saw Danny in his car and I soon connected the puzzle pieces.
I was standing in front of his car. I was breathing heavy from all the running and my fists were balled up on my sides. Danny's police car backed up and then started to drive right towards me. I heard Jane's screams come from the inside of the vehicle. I was dead if i didn't move. It felt as if my feet were super glued to the ground as my heart thumped in my chest. The car was speeding towards me. I couldn't help Jane. I did the only thing I could do. Jump. I jumped out the way. My body stinged when it hit the floor. The car wooshed passed me. I was so close to the car that I felt how fast it was going.
"Jane!" I yelled. "Wait!" I began to run after the car but it was no use. The car was to fast to catch up to. I dropped to my knees out of breath. I clenched my chest with my fist still panting. "Dammit!" I screamed punching the ground underneath me. Can't I do anything right? I let the girl of dreams slip out of my hands.
But, no. I'm not going to give up that easy. Breaking her out of jail was the only way to get her back. Well, the only plan that I can think of. I'm going to need back up and I know who exactlly that i'm going to ask.
Jane's POV
I hung my head low in shame as the other cops cheered.
"Good job, Danny! Way to go man!" Were thrown around the room. Some officers patted his back and others clapped. It was like I was the last item on a treasure hunt.
"Screw you. Screw all of you!" I spat.
Danny tightened his grip on the back of my neck. He dragged me to a hallway filled with small cells. As we walked down the cold stone path women and men stared at me from inside their cells. They were caged up like wild animals. They all scowled. None of them showed of sign of kindness.
Danny took out his keys unlocking a cell. He dragged the door open and pushed me inside. I fell onto the cold flat surface. I got back up onto my feet watching him shut the door and lock it. He smirked at me spinning the keys on his finger as he walked away. I absolutely didn't want to be here behind bars in a freezing box they call a cell.
"Hey." I heard from behind. I quickly turned around startled. A girl with dirty blonde hair stood infront of me. She wore a orange jumpsuit and had bags under her dark blue eyes. She seemed as if she was in her twenties. I don't plan on making any friends in here. I'm going to leave this place as soon as possible to find Louis.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I'm Christina." She stretches out her arm to shake my hand but I don't take it.
"I'm Jane." I say taking a step back. She puts her hand down back to her side. She walkes over to the bunk beds and sits at the bottom bunk.
"Why are you in here?" Christina asked. It was nice that she was trying to start up a conversation but she didn't need to know my buisness.
"None of your buisness. All you need to know is that I don't plan on being here for long." I bark.
"Woah, calm down." She chuckled. " No need to be fiesty. I'm in here for selling drugs."
"Drugs? What type of drugs?"
"Drugs that you're to young to even know of. But don't judge me kid, I needed the money." She needed the money? I didn't want to make any friends and i'm not going to but for some reason I was interested in her back story.
