It's 10:17pm. I let Askya and Ofelia outside. I go get some Pringles from the cupboard and get some apple juice from the fridge. I let the girls back inside and head off to my room. I let them come with me. It's funny how you can't be scared of much when you have two German Shepards in bed with you.
-the next day-
I wake up at 8:14am. I brush my teeth and get ready for the day. I bring the dogs downstairs and let them outside.
I pour myself a bowl of fruit loops and a cup of coffee. I eat in silence until I get a call.
Me:"hello?"
Horse breeder:"Hi Gia its Robert here, I was wondering when you would like to pick up the horses?"
Me:"yea I dont know yet, the stables are almost finished and they are starting to work on the indoor track and center"
Robert:"OK just let me know when you're ready"
Me:"OK Rob I will, thanks a million".
He hangs up
I glance over to the workers who I can faintly make out because of the distance. Work should be done in a week or so. I let the dogs in and head upstairs to Kara's room. "Wakey Wakey sleepy head', I say sarcastically. She groans and crawls out of bed. "Rob called about the horses, reminding me that we need to go shopping for tack and Other equipment today". She raises an eyebrow and we burst out laughing.
Two hours later we found ourselves in a equine center. We pick up several saddles, reigns, boots, whips,etc. We also buy 20 large bales of hay and 25 large bales of straw. We out it into the 8 horse trailer we lately bought. We bring everything home and get back to unpacking the boxes that were left over from the move.
I stumble across a picture of my ex and I. David was the biggest mistake I ever made. I rip it and burn it over the bin.
