"So you are made fun of because you refuse to play sports?" You watch him eat his sandwich carefully as he nods, he had really nice manners and it made you a little flushed.
"Y-yeah, I have the height for basketball and when I denied the offer everyone here made fun of me for being either gay or worse... the only one who stayed by me was Reiner and he is gone a lot," Bertholdt said with pain in his voice.
"Eh doesn't worry about it kid, Their just butthurt because I'm sure they wanted the chance to play sports like a pro but cant" You explained cupping your face in your hands.
"H-hey W-why aren't you eating?" Bertholdt asked, "Oh, Uh, Not hungry" You laughed, "But Y-your stomach has been making hungry noises," He says like a little kid making you blush.
"Nah" You waved it off as he stares slightly concerned but as usual, keeps his mouth shut.
"Oh here" You pulled out his pencil from your pocket and handed it to him, "O-oh" He grasped it in his large hands.
"I'm going to adopt you" You state as he chokes on his sandwich and gives your most confused look ever, "U-uh What?"
"You're going to be my shy baby" You smile as he stares weirded out, "I-i just met you-" "Yeah but you are super cute and nice, also lonely so I think this was fate, my dear Watson"
"C-cute?" He blushes and you blush slightly too, "Well you have the cutest eyes and you are so darn adorable, I think it's your secret weapon" You smile and he finishes his sandwich. "Weapon?" "Yeah~! girls love cuteness in a guy who acts stoic"
"Girls don't like me..." He says, "Well I'll fix that, which girl here would you wanna kiss?" You say as he chokes on air and turns beat red, "W-what?~! N-no that's N-no!" He exclaims.
"Oh come on every guy here thinks about it" You play with your hair innocently, "Don't try and act cute at a time like this~!" He squealed, "I have no idea what you mean" You grin evilly.

"When I date... if E-ever, I will T-take her to the library," He says before you die of laughter, "Wow books over kissing, I like it" You laugh as he sighs, "I-its not funny" He pouts as you stop and give him a pat on the head, "I'm sure Annie will love it"
