Meanwhile, outside of the Caribbean sea and into land, layer the small town of Port Royal.

The town had been greatly updated since the attack of the Pearl. People tried to recover and rebuild as much as they could.
They were now more protective of their belongings and had more security throughout the town.

When the people found out that their governor, Wetherby Swann had passed on, they were frightened. For there was no governor to protect them. But, he did have a daughter AND a son-in-law.

Elizabeth Swann and William Turner.

Will was granted title of governor since, well, he was a man. But Elizabeth would get to run the port while he was away. And if Elizabeth were to ever leave, they she would the position to her son, Henry Turner.

Henry had just recently broke his fathers curse from his ship, The Flying Dutchman.
It was nice to finally have two parents in the same roof instead of one.

They were finally a proper famliy.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Henry sat in his room, looking at all the pictures of mythological creatures and legends. Funny, he thought. How his room still looked like that of a boy. But the boy had now become a man.

"Henry, dinner!" Elizabeth shouted from downstairs.

"Coming, mum!" He shouted back.

Just then, the door opened, and standing there was Will Turner. Henry's father.

"Henry, you alright?" He asked.

Henry simply looked at his father. The face he was making clearly meant something was wrong.

Will let out a huge breath. His son had been a bit down lately. And he wanted to find out.

"Will?" Elizabeth said, coming upstairs to Henry's room.

"Will, could you please Henry tha-" Elizabeth then noticed her son; sitting on his bed with a frowned expression. Dinner would have to wait.

The room stayed quite for a while. Will and Elizabeth stared at eachother, then at Henry. They knew their son, and they knew something was wrong.

They then walked over to Henry's bed and sitting on each side, with Will on the left and Elizabeth on the right.

"What is it son?" Will asked.

Henry looked down, never staring at his parents eyes.

Then, he spoke. "I was just thinking of Carina. That's all. It's nothing, really"

Will and Elizabeth looked at eachother once more. Of course, they thought. A long distance relationship.

"Henry," Elizabeth said, putting her hands over Henry's "I know your miss her. But you know how busy she is. Being a pirate isn't easy. Just ask me and your father".

Henry looked at his mother. The last time he had seen Carina, she was boarding the Queen Anne's Revenge with her father, Captain Barbossa. She had decided to go with him, but she was rather sad to leave Henry. She did, however, promise to visit him. At first, they were small visits, sometimes even vacations. But then, they started decreasing. And eventually, they stopped.

"It was nice for them to visit at times" Elizabeth said "But you know how the town is with pirates."

"Your mother's right" Will said "And Carina was just starting to get used to being called a pirate. She already has enough trouble being called a witch"

Henry chuckled under his breath. Carina always hated being called a witch, he thought.

"I know" Henry said "But I do wish she could have stayed a bit longer, instead of just leaving outright."

Henry started to feel the sting of tears.

Will and Elizabeth stared at eachother.

Oh. No, they thought.

Will and Elizabeth knew of Henry's powers. They knew that they centered around his emotions. They knew he would start turning things grey.

They also knew that if he started crying, they all started crying.

"N-Now now, Henry" Will said, patting his son's shoulder "There's no need for dreading. She'll come back, eventually. She has too. She kept her word"

"Not to mention that her father doesn't do it, then they'll both have to answer to their king" Elizabeth said jokingly.

They all laughed at the little joke. Henry smiled as his parents hugged him. He admitted, while he was still sad, he was happy to know he had two parents to cheer him up.

"We always loved that smiled of yours." Will said "Never fails to make us smile"

Elizabeth smiled at her husband. When Henry was happy, everyone was happy.

And Henry was happy.

Still, he thought. I wonder what Carina is doing.
