Dorm rooms?

The only school that had accepted both Nani and Luca was huge, they'd have to move as the school was 2 hours away in the big city.

"Dorm rooms?" Luca asked leaning over the back of the couch behind Nani.

"The partnerings are completely random, girl-girl, boy-boy,boy-girl vice versa..." Nani muttered while scrolling down the screen for Luca to see the rest of the details about the school.

"The headmaster sent out a message, you should be getting it too, that we will start school in 2 weeks. We better start packing."

"I see..." Luca whispered, "Maybe we'll be roomates?"

"Since it's the middle of the year, it's highly possible." Nani shut her laptop and looked at Luca who was now grinning like an idiot.

"What's that stupid smile for?" Nani asked, her arms crossed.

"Nothing, just think about it, two friends, put in a dorm room together. What if we fell in love? It's a classic love story..." Luca said, making kissy faces and sounds.

"Yeah right, in your dreams." Nani said walking into the kitchen to make the two of them lunch.

She was turning on the stove when she felt two strong arms slither around her waist. The arms turned her around and she saw Luca's face covered in deviousy. She gave him a questioning frown.

"We're alone in an apartment right now. And everyone is either at work or at school..." Luca said as he led Nani away from the stove.

"What are you doing? We're gonna start a fire if you don't let me go." Nani said, stuggling to get out of his grasp.

Luca said nothing and pushed her onto the wall, not toughly but not gently either. He trapped her between his arms so she couldn't escape.

"Luca let me go..." Nani rose her voice.

"But it's so comfy over in this corner isn't it..?" Lucas tone was flirty.

Nani tried pushing his arms out of the way but she couldn't move them. Luca reached his head down, their noses touching and their breaths dancing together. Nani felt a heat run up her neck.

Luca smiled and put his mouth next to Nani's ear, "Are you sure that one of us won't fall in love?"

Luca leaned back and took in Nani's embarrased face. Satisfyed with his work he walked over to the loveseat and turned on Nani's tv.

"You might wanna hurry up, you don't want to burn down the apartment, do you?" Luca asked, stifling a laugh.

As if right on time, the smoke alarm rang throughout the apartment. Nani ran through the apartment to the kitchen. She waved her towel through the air. Once the alarm stopped ringing she got out the pots and pans. She was going to cook Yukgaejang.

She sat Luca's bowl in front of him on the coffee table, along with a pair of chopsticks. She knew he couldn't use chopsticks so she sat and watched the show whilst eating her lunch of the same dish with ease.

Luca had finally finished his meal in about an hour.

They started packing Nani's apartment first.

Nani handled her pictures with care, wrapping each photo of her and her parents in several layers of newspaper. She felt a few tears fall down her face as she thought about her parents...
