LOVE OR FRIENDSHIP?

Bunking Classes

Juliet's POV

Eventually Salman became very close to us and he is also a part of us now. So now it's the 10 of us; Myself, Aliza, Anna, Olivia, Omar, Kaym, Edgar, Harry, Fred and Salman. I still feel awkward around Salman and I noticed he too acts wired with me. Aliza is a girl who wins everyone's heart, even if it's a stranger she speaks to them as if though she knows them for ages, so people get friendly with her very soon, as Salman did. She didn't see anything different in him, she considered him as one of the whole lot and was equally friendly with him like the others. I wonder why only I feel awkward to move with Salman.

It's Monday again and I hate the fact that i have to wake up early in the morning to go to school, but once I go to school i just don't want to come back home, and it's because of my friends. I should be so grateful to God for giving me such amazing friends, when am with them I forget about everything else. I wish I can spend my whole life with them.

My alarm rang and I dragged myself into the washroom. I did all what I had to do, put my uniform on, grabbed my school bag and went downstairs. Mom was busy making breakfast in the kitchen when I greeted her, she replied feeding me a few morsels of rice. She had put two slices of bread into a box which I usually take my food in, I put it in my bag and left the house after I said 'bye' to mom.

Everything went well at school. After the break it was the history period and none of us were in the mood to study plus we haven't done our history homework. I suddenly came with an idea and said "People, Shall we bunk the history class?"

"Wow that's great" said Olivia, to which Anna replied "but where can we hide?"

Aliza stood up saying "I know of a place.. follow me galz" and she walked out of the class just before the teacher entered, thank God she didn't see us. We walked towards a side of the school. This place was a hidden corner in the school, no one goes there. There are so many trees and bushes, at a point we had to jump over a fallen tree trunk and go. We made our way towards a Rose apple tree.

"So this is where you brought us Allie?" Olivia said rolling her eyes playfully.

"Yeah... isn't this a nice place to hide?" Aliza asked confused.

"It's perfect dude..." Said Anna.

Aliza climbed up the tree and sat on a branch as I followed her and sat on a lower branch. Anna and Olivia is not very athletic, They were kind of scared to climb on the tree, so they ended up sitting on the fallen trunk which was inches away from the rose apple tree.

It was the April season and the tree was filled with it's fruits. Since Aliza was on top she could reach the rose apples, she plucked a few and threw them to the two on the trunk and the both of us also had a few for ourselves.

"the boys must be studying... poor guys.. missing the fun.." said Anna to which I said "I actually miss them"

"I can see their classroom" said Aliza excitedly looking up at the direction of the building. "The window is open but I don't see anyone there"

"There must be a teacher in the class" replied Olivia.

After a few minutes, Aliza whispered "Salman" and waved her hands towards the building. Of course Salman wouldnt have heard it even if she had told it loud. when i heard her call his name my heart skipped a beat. Olivia hearing his name stood up immediately and walked towards us to see him asking "where?"

I replied quite annoyed "You can't see him! even I can't see.. If you climb up near Allie you will be able to see.." she went back and sat.

Salman's POV

I saw Aliza waving her hands at me. Aliza is a nice girl with a nice personality. I understood her character the day I met her and I liked it. She was very kind and friendly and always wore a smile on her face.

I informed the rest about it and we decided to join them there, we made our way through trees and bushes and somehow found them.

"Where in the world have you people come?" stated Omar looking at Anna and Olivia who were seated on a fallen trunk.

Kaym spotted the two on the tree and greeted "Hi monkeys!" to which Juliet frowned.

Omg! her frown was cute just as her smile. I can say she is the prettiest out of the lot and as Aliza introduced her to be the princess, she deserves it. She was quite slim and had a perfect body shape. Her thick long brown hair hanging behind her and her fringe in the front made her look gorgeous. I don't understand why I feel awkward to talk to her and I noticed that she too doesn't feel comfortable when I am around. I tried to be normal with her and tried to speak to her like how I speak to Aliza, but something stops me.

Kaym proceeded climbing the tree and sat at the highest branch, Omar followed him and sat a little below that. There was only one more branch remaining and I sat on it. Aliza was right below me and Juliet was seated below her. The rest of the boys sat on the trunk with the other girls.

I wish Juliet was in Aliza's place.

The three of us on the tree plucked some rose apples and threw to the others at the tree trunk, the girls refused because they already had eaten before we came. so we guys were eating and had a few random conversations. We did not realize the time passed by until we heard the bell. Silently we crept out of that place without anyone noticing.

While we climbed up the stairs we saw the teacher entering the class. If we had come a little bit earlier we could've sneaked in before the teacher enters and could've escaped. Luckily there wasn't any teachers in the girls class, so they went in and sat like they did nothing. But we are 6 in number and I am sure Miss will whack us if we go at the same time. We thought of entering in couples gradually with different reasons.

Myself and Omar went at first and excused our self. As we expected, Miss asked where we went and we told that we went to the washroom. Similar way the others also came with different reasons, but the last two got scolded for coming late. We are so used to getting scolded and we don't give a damn to it, but at the same time all of us study well and score good marks. The other guys in the class are very jealous of us and our friendship although they don't show it out much. It's not that we isolate them but they don't join us because they aren't our type.
