Juliet's POV

Past few days we've been treating Sir Tim badly and he's being tolerating us. Today's history class too was bored as usual. Sir taught a lesson and gave us an exercise to do. As we were attempting the exercises we started singing and Sir couldn't stop us so we continued. We sang all type of stupid songs and one of those which was in Sinhala spoke about a bullock cart and how the students ride on it to school during ancient days.

It said; "Thoppi gonaa issarahin man pitipassen"

Which means; 'The bull is in front and we are (riding) behind (it)'

I guess Sir Tim misunderstood this and he got wild and hurt. He thought we referred him as the bull because he was sitting in front of us. It does make a bit of sense, but we aren't that bad to insult a teacher directly. He didn't blast at us but spoke broken and told us that he's leaving school because the students aren't pleasant and so on.

We apologized and tried to explain to him that we didn't mean it to him and its just a song that we sang, but he didn't understand. We were upset because we are being accused of something what we didn't do or what we didn't intend. I hope he doesn't complain this to the management and put us into trouble again.

When we told this to the guys especially the fact that he's resigning from school they jumped up and down like pre-grade kids. They stopped rejoicing when reality stroke them that we are going to fall into problems again.

Salman's POV

One of the joyous moments was when the girls told us about Sir Tim, that he's leaving school. A week passed and we were waiting till he never comes back to school but this shit can't get his butt outta school.

Ugh... when is he leaving?

After a week he walked into our class and said after the lesson,

"Sadly today is the last day I'm teaching in your school"

"Why Sir?"

"Are you leaving school Sir?"

"Sir, please don't leave us."

"Who will teach us history then?"

Some of the mourning we pretended.

We asked him the reason and he didn't tell us, he just told that he doesn't like this place and he got a job in another school with better salary.

After he spoke to us more, I learnt that he hadn't complained the management about our behavior.

When I heard that today was his last day I was the happiest person on earth and I am sure my squad too is feeling the same. I studied that Juliet doesn't like him and that was my fear a few days ago, but now I'm self-contented.

Just before Sir left we expressed sad emotions and just after he left our squad started dancing climbing up on chairs like barbarians, I could say.

Now I know Juliet is definitely for me and no one has eyes on her. My fear of losing her vanished but I should let her know that I love her before she falls for anyone else.

I don't know how to tell this to her. I didn't find a perfect moment. She's always with her friends especially Aliza. I believe Aliza won't make a fuss out of it but I don't want anyone else to know about this. It should be only between me and Juliet. I didn't even tell Omar or the others who are very close to me.

Omar's POV

I am very sleepy today and early in the morning we have Sinhala for two continuous periods. All of us hate the subject because we hate the teacher. Luckily I was in the last row in a corner and Salman sat next to me. Before the teacher entered the class I went under my desk and told Salman to pretend that I was absent if the teacher inquired about me.

I had a peaceful nap underneath and the teacher never noticed me. I bounced up when Salman shook me and found out the teacher had just left the class. I quickly prepared myself for the next subject. I hope the Sinhala teacher doesn't see me for the rest of the day.

Once again it was Sir Hamdi's period. We had mathematics. After starting the lesson, Sir wanted to explain something on the whiteboard. He searched for markers on the teacher's table but didn't find. I wonder where all the markers had gone.

After a few seconds I see Edgar taking out a blue marker from his bag and handing it over to Sir Hamdi. Sir smiled back at Edgar and started writing on the board. Edgar was seated at the front row. For some reason or the other Edgar turned behind at us and smirked. None of us knew what exactly is going on.

After Sir was done explaining and after we had copied it into our notebooks Sir took the duster from his desk and started erasing. It's not getting erased. Sir put his ultimate effort in erasing it, poor Sir Hamdi, he's already thin and now he looks weaker and started panting. His expressions changed and he looks tensed, sweat dripping off his forehead. He called us for help.

I could see Edgar sitting in the front row and trying to hide his laughter. We too did the same. Now we knew that Edgar has done it on purpose. We pretended to help Sir in erasing the board although we knew we can never erase it with a duster.

I took the marker to my hand and read, "OMG! Sir! This is a permanent marker!"

"Oh I see, that's why I can't erase it?" He scratched the back of his head.

Only now reality had hit him. He's such a tube light. His brain works well only in Math I see.

"In vain. I wasted all my energy"

I felt like laughing my ass off when he said this but I held back.

He started scolding Edgar for what he did.

"Sir, I'm very sorry I didn't know that it was a permanent marker" Edgar lied and Sir believed in him.

We borrowed a tissue packet from the nerds in our class and Fred offered his water bottle to wet it. Almost the whole whiteboard was scribbled with math. Harry, Kaym and Salman erased it while Sir sat on his chair. They erased it slowly so that we can waste the period.

Just when they were done erasing the bell rang and the period was over. He couldn't blame us because it was part of his mistake of not reading what was written on the marker. So he walked away saying that he would continue the lesson next class.

Hello people! How's the chapter?

Finally Sir Tim left school huh?

Will Juliet belong to Salman?

And about the permanent marker... You guys too might've experienced funny moments like this at school. Comment and share those interesting moments with us!
