The break up

Brendon had been around a lot more and Jax a lot less. Ryan was getting worried because Jax had been disappearing to somewhere often and had been getting more distant. Ryan was getting the feeling that Jax was cheating, but tried to shrug it off. I trust him. He went out with Brendon to hang out and wasn't supposed to be home until 10:30 but he ended up going home early because something came up. Ryan opened the door walking inside to see Jax on the couch making out with some girl. "J-Jax?" Ryan stuttered out. Jax pulled away his eyes going wide. "Ryan your not supposed to be home I-I-" tears formed in Ryan's eyes. "Save it." He spat turning and running out the door. Brendon was gonna be home in 10 minutes he had to go give Spencer a ride. Ryan to ran to his house and sat on the front steps waiting for him to return.

When Brendon got home he saw Ryan crying on his front steps. He ran over and attempted to calm him down. "Hey hey hey, Ryan what is it? What's wrong." He asked rubbing Ryan's back. "H-he was cheating on m-me." Ryan stuttered out. "Jax?" Brendon asked his hand that wasn't around ryan clenching into a fist.  Ryan just nodded. "Come on." Brendon said softly leading Ryan inside and sitting down on the couch with him. Brendon lied down pulling Ryan down and onto his chest. He ran a hand through his hair. "I'm sorry I know you want me to love you the way I once did and I still care I do I'm just not sure if I would be ready to date you." Ryan mumbled into Brendon's chest. "Shh. Look yes I do still love you, but for one your fucking boyfriend was cheating on you and you just found out for two Im okay with being your friend I'll wait forever if I have to." Brendon replied. Ryan smiled. Brendon really was the best person ever. They feel asleep like that, cuddling on the couch feeling secure in each other's arms.
