Travis came over to my place a while back to help me prepare snacks.
"Hey guuurl!" Travis hollered making his entrance quite the joke.
"Travis!" I jump to him and hug him. I do t remember having a close friend like him in a while. Especially in a matter of days. He holds up a box.
" I bare gifts!" I open the lid of the box, containing around a dozen or so cupcakes. My eyes glint with exitement.
"Travis!" I hug him and he chuckles, ruffling my hair.
"I knew you would like them!".
I hook my thumb toward the kitchen
"We got lots of work to do." he nods and we get out stuff to make snacks. He puts Pandora on and the song "I fell in love with my best friend." came on. Our faces turned beet red. We stood their in silence listening to the song okay on, since turning it off would have been more awkward. Towards the end of the song, Travis grabbed a laddle and began to sing.
"I fell in love with my best friend~" he grabbed my hand and twirled me, causing giggles to slip.
"I told you I would always be there, ever since we were 10 baby~" he pulled me closer and, if it was even possible, I could have bet my face got redder. We heard a knock on the door thunder through the house and Travis dropped me. Before I could got the ground I grabbed Travis' shirt collar to try and save myself. He fell on top of me and i saw Katylen step foot into the kitchen.
"Woah, I didn't know you guys were getting it on. I'll just go to grill while you guys continue your make out session." she laughed and went to the backyard. Travis looked at me, are nodes touching. He lifted himself up and cleared his throat. We sat, crossed-legged, in silence. Finally, the door bell rang and everyone else stood at the door frame. I met eyes with Zane and I laughed.
"What?" he snapped.
"I didn't think you were going to come." I put my hand on my waist, emphasizing my sass. He rolled his eyes and Aph giggles.
"I have my ways..." she makes an evil laugh, or attempts to, and walks in happily. Garroth brings his hand up to my forehead, which caught me off guard.
"Hm, you're red to the face, but you don't seem to have a fever. Strange." I panicked and pushed his hand away.
"I-im f-fine." he shrugged and walked in. Laurence followed behind Garroth, taking a second to greet me.
KC gives me a box with zip locked candy and Gene pays my head. I locked at Travis' cupcakes and an idea sparked.
"ZANE!"
"What!?"
"Come here!"
"NO!"
"ZANE!!!!!!"
"NO!"
"ZAAAAAANNNNNEEEE!"
He rolls his eye and stomps his way over to me.
"What!?!?"
I hold out the box and his eyes glint. I see him look at me and he puffs out his cheeks.
"What's the catch?" he crosses his arms. I hear Aph giggle, "don't you mean the cat-ch!" I hear Aaron groan and she has a got of giggles. Zane just simple groans.
"There is none, a little birdy or should I say kitty told me you liked them." Aph grabbed Aarons hand and snuck around the corner. His arms slackened and his cheeks dusted pink.
"The pink ones are favorite because they remind me of pinkie caaaaaaaaaaaa...candy. Yes pink candy." He tilted his hand and his blush grew, encouraging mine.
"W-what's so good about pink candy?" I shrug and he takes a pink cupcake. He thanks me, but then pauses.I'm confused at first and then I realize he can't eat without taking his mask off.
"I can leave and I don't think anyone is looking." he shakes his head.
"N-no it's fine." I see freckles burst over the bottom part of his face.He eats his cupcake and I leave him be. I put the cupcakes down and enter the kitchen. Gene walks up to me and guys me from behind, which startles me.
"Hey, bunny" I freeze and my brain starts to swim in a sea of embarrassment. He chuckles and let's go. I hear a loud scream, "DAAANTE!"
Dante laughs and hides behind me.
Which is ironic because I'm inches shorter than him. Just...picture it like a elephant trying to hide behind a lamp. I see Travis scurry over and he stops and looks at me. His face explodes red as he tries to fix his hair. Gene and Dante share a glance before bursting out laughing. I hear KC call me and I slip out from between them. I hear Dante shriek and more yells of help. KC shows me some super cute cookies she made and I give her a thumbs up. Aphmau grabs a bottle, she finished drinking and waved it in the air.
"Spin the bottle, fam!" Aaron cringed and everyone huddled in a circle. I looked at Zane and his face looked horrified. I hid behind Zane and he scowled.
"Save me Zane!"
"No I have to save myself!" Aphmau grabs both of us.
"No one can save you now!" she giggles. She dragged us into a circle and my stomach tied into knots. Impossibly, Aphmau's first spin landed on Aaron. She blushed, but it's better than kissing someone you don't want to kiss. Laurence landed on Aphmau, but she just gave him a kiss on the cheek. Probably for the better because I could feel Aarons anger from over here. Garroth landed and Zane and they shared an awkward bro hug. It was my turn and my stomach churned. I nervously spun the bottle to while I pressed my eyes shut. I opened my eyes and his eyes met mine.
It....it landed on him!?!?!
