so, hi! it's been...a while, to say the least. i know i promised i would continue this story in due time and 3 whole years later i've finally come back to it!! lol. i recently re-read this story, not as an author looking to edit and improve but as a reader looking to enjoy. i think first of all it's safe to say my writing style has evolved a great deal, and that there is much i would edit about this story if i could, but i do not  have the energy nor the time to go back and rewrite the bits i want to. plus that would mean readers would have to go back and re-read so the adjustments make sense. anyway, as promised, i am continuing this story! i'm probably taking it in a slightly different direction to originally intended; as i said, i am older now and more evolved both as a person and a writer, but hopefully you'll still be happy with the result! i'm pretty sure getting back onto writing this involves me rewatching lost & found, but i can't say i have a problem with that lol. also in re-reading i realise now that literally half this book is author's notes??? not sure why i felt the need to make them individual chapters but as seen here i have decided to make them part of the chapter itself to save you from that misery. in other news, i can't believe we're at almost 24k views???!!! that is absolutely mad. i saw that and laughed for like a solid half an hour. i am so grateful to every single reader; i didn't expect for a single moment i'd get over 100 odd views when i first put this thing out 3 years ago. so thank you to every individual reader. also, people have been reading this as recently as this year? and asking for updates?? beats me. thank you so much for all the support!! i will try to finish this as soon as i can to hopefully give you what you're after. anyway, enough rambling from me!! as promised 3 years ago, here is the next installment! set in the pov of leia's oc friend raechael (you can skip back a few chapters to 'rachel' if you've forgotten all about her) - hope you enjoy!!! x

HI EVERYONE! so i wrote the above message back in september (it's now february lol) with every intention of getting back into writing it. this school year has been a lot more busy than i thought. that said, i am somehow STILL getting update requests, views and followers! it's hard for me to express how crazy that is for me, but also how grateful i am for that. plus since september we actually managed 25k reads???? insane. the fact people want to read my writing now four years later just fills my heart inexplicably. i will try to update as soon as i can - i just haven't watched this show in about 4 years so some rewatching is def in order to get back in the right mindset, but i promise i will try my best! sending so much love, health and happiness to you all.

I sling my bag over my shoulders and wait by the door for Leia. Why is this girl so slow?! She honestly runs to her own time in her own world with little care for anyone else and yet somehow she makes it work. She's lucky I'm so forgiving.

She's been acting very odd lately. Not her perky and energetic self. It's weird seeing her so...lethargic. I haven't prodded her about it too much because I know she'll tell me when she's ready, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out it's something to do with the unsolicited guest in the form of my namesake. Something happened at that music studios and I'm not sure what, but all I know is that I don't like this version of Leia. I hope whatever it is gets sorted out soon, because however much she tries to act normal around me, I can tell she's hurting and I know she doesn't deserve it. I've never seen her this defeated before. Hell, if you asked me a few days ago I would've said it wasn't even possible for Leia to be this put down by something. Guess I was wrong. It has me curious though; in all the years I've known her, I've never known anything to get to Leia as much as this. What possibly could've happened?

Leia bumping her shoulder into mine gently breaks me from my reverie, and we head off home together, falling seamlessly into step. As we leave the building, I notice a dark haired boy sitting on the bench outside, wringing his hands. It's a mindless, nervous motion. Something about him looks so familiar, but I just can't place it.

We walk straight past him - Leia mumbling to herself as she types on her phone - when it hits me. My eyes widen in shock and I stop dead in my tracks. I know exactly who that boy is. I've seen his photos far too many times, normally accompanying by some seriously dramatic gushing and swooning. And I have a pretty damn good guess what he's doing here.

"Leia!" I grab her arm. She must hear something in my voice because unlike every other time, it only takes one try to get her attention.

"What? What happened?"

"I think there might be someone here to see you." I gesture with my head towards the boy on the bench.

"Luke?" Leia mumbles, her features painted with pure confusion. "What is he..." She tails off and the next thing I know she's darting through the crowd, making a beeline for the nervous boy with the familiar face.

"Luke?" she repeats in disbelief once she reaches the bench, louder this time, her usual dramatic flair now on full display. "What are you doing here?"

As soon as he hears his name, the boy looks up and practically leaps off his feet, brushing off his jeans. "Leia!" he replies, his voice giving away how caught off-guard he is. "H-How are you, how's it going? Are you good? Um, can we talk?"

"Did Rachel send you?" comes her immediate response, eyebrows raised, almost confrontational.

He denies it just as quickly. "I just-I just wanted to talk to you." He says it with a little shrug and this face  that I just KNOW Leia won't be able to say no to. She looks at him intensely for a second, studying him for any hint of insincerity or malintent. After a few seconds, she finally relents and nods slowly.

"Okay. Let's talk." A small smile, tiny, undetectable to the eye untrained in Leia's ways, grows on her face. She's wary, that's for sure, but it's there, all right.

This is definitely my cue to leave.

"Uh, Leia, is it okay if I go straight home? I gotta get through a lot of work but, uh, we can go to Caffein8 tomorrow instead?"

Okay, okay, so I actually don't have a lot of work to do, but I don't want Leia to rush through her conversation because she thinks I'm waiting. Actually, she probably wouldn't. But still. I figure best to eliminate all possibility, right?

So I just head off down the road, throwing a sneaky glance over my shoulder to see Leia put her bag on the floor and her butt on the bench. You know, I've got the feeling she's gonna have a lot to tell me tomorrow.

(sorry this is short but i hope you enjoyed. let me know what you think - predictions, comments, whatever! more to come soon i really hope!!)
