She was a closed book, not until now she isn't.

Julia's P.O.V

"I'm sorry Agatha, but you're required to dance just like the rest of the class." Miss Acosta, our P.E teacher, said almost pleading.

It's only our third day of school and already she's making us dance in the middle of the entire class. The whole class were watching us argue. If truth be told, dancing was a hobby of mine. Actually, it was my passion. But after the worst day, I promised myself never to dance again. Cause, of course, if it wasn't for that dance rehearsal I attended, me and AJ wouldn't be walking that dark alley during the late hours of the night. I closed my eyes at the thought, fighting with all my might the tears that were threatening to escape.

"But Agatha.." I heard her sigh, a sign of defeat. As I opened my eyes I saw her raise her hands in surrender. "I know it's hard.. but sometimes we just have to let go." She muttered as she turned on her heels. I ignored her and glanced up to DJ who was standing at a corner and was looking at me intently, completely oblivious of the female students who were shamelessly trying to flirt with him.

He put a hand out, making one of the girls to stop talking. "I'm sorry but I have to talk to Julia." he said casually and without even waiting for the girl to reply, he started to make his way towards me.

"You okay?" he asked as he stood before me.

I nodded and tried to force a smile. "Yeah, it happens all the time."

he nodded and just then, the bell, signaling lunch break, rang.

"Okay class, meet me here again tomorrow " Miss Acosta informed the entire class.

Everyone nodded and started walking out off the room. DJ and I waited untill the hall was clear enough for us to pass.

"Why did you stop dancing?" DJ asked as he held one of my gold medals on my face. He had been so stubborn to leave me alone in my room and now he was walking around and opening like every single drawer and closet.

"Can we not talk about this?" I asked, grabbing the medal  from him and walking to the shelf were it has been hidden for almost three years. It was one of the medals I failed to throw with the others because they held so much memories and more valuable than the rest. As for this one, I won it when we were in France for an international competition when I was only 6. The first medal I had ever won.

"I think we should. I think you need someone to talk to about it. " he said while making himself comfortable on my bed.

'No, I don't want to talk about it." I managed to make a straight face while inside all I reaaly want to do is cry.

"Yes, you do" His voice sounded so sure. Not a hint of doubt.

I signed, knowing he won't give up until I told him the whole story. He tapped the space next to him on my bed and I sat down.

"Now, why did you stop?" He asked like a kid who wants a bedtime story.

"It was the reason why I came home late that worst night." I admitted, shutting my eyes as the memories of what happened that night came flowing in my mind like I'm watching a horror film.

I felt his hand clasped mine. Then I suddenly relaxed and opened my eyes. Making me meet his dark brown eyes.  "I was in school that evening, I had to rehearse for an upcoming event. He-- he was there, but I did not know." I stuttered. not wanting to mention his name. Mentioning his name only deepens the wounds in my heart. "He wanted to make sure I was safe, but he ended up being killed, himself." I continued, desperately trying to pull back tears.
