Kathryn's P.O.V

       My heart was pounding as I heard the cries from my sister's room. I have never seen Julia this fragile before. And as her sister, it pains me to see her cry and take all the guilt. She doesn't deserve this. She's supposed to be living a normal teenage life like everybody else. One who can kiss a boy and won't cry as much as she is crying now. That's right. I knew what happened. I have had caught a glimpse of her and Daniel kissing. I sensed Julia's attraction towards Daniel, and I'm happy that she's starting to cope up. But when you thought everything was getting better, everything starts to fallback.

       I turned as I heard footsteps from behind me. Daniel. He lingered on the hallways as if he was debating whether to talk or not. Then finally, he looked up and I was shocked to see his eyes glistening. 

"Is she alright?" He began, not quite meeting my eyes.

"No, but she will be. Don't worry. She'll be fine." I said truthfully.

He nodded and mumbled "I hope so."

"She will be. My sister is a strong woman, she just gets a little fragile when it comes to her past. Anyone with her past would be." I insisted. "Daniel, do not blame yourself for something you haven't done." I placed a warm hand on his arm, but quickly withdrew.

"I-- I just don't know what to do. I'm starting to get personal with her, and -- I---" He stuttered.

"you love her!!" I exclaimed, shocked. How could I be so oblivious about something so obvious?

He took a deep breath before speaking "Yes, I do. But It doesn't matter now, does it?" 

"I honestly don't know... " I answered, suddenly feeling pity. " but we'll never know." I smiled. "Maybe one day, Julia will be able to open her heart for someone." 

"Maybe...." he sighed. "You should probably go now,  you should rest..."

"You're right." I said, placing an ear against Julia's door. The cries are gone. She had fallen asleep. Typical Julia. "She's asleep now... would you check on her for me? I'm not ready to see her just yet.."

He gave me a slight nod before leaving to get the keys. I watched as he left and thought to myself how lucky my sister is.

Quen's P.O.V 

"is everything alright?" I asked as Kathryn walked in the living room.

"It soon will be." She said, not bothering to look at me and just continued walking down the hall to her room. I followed, wanting to know more.

           She opened the door to her room and finally glanced at me. "You are dismissed in your duties until tomorrow morning. You don't have to stand out here all night." She said too quickly.

"Why?? I have to, it's my duty." I answered, making sure to keep my voice low, what's with the sudden change of attitude?

"Didn't you hear me? I said you are dismissed. Now go, I can take care of myself." with that, she shut the door on my face and I heard it click, a cue that it is locked. 

She'll be safe, I know. But what the hell did just happen? I can never understand girls! Sweet now then grumpy. MAybe she's just worried about her sister, yeah, that has to be it! I leave it for now.

              I started to make my way to my room. As I passed by a window, I noticed a movement that could not be detected by ordinary person's eyes. We're being watched. My sensed suddenly alerted as I scanned the yard. Whoever is watching us is not from the agency. They should be off duties at this time. No, this is no good guy. Being careful not to give them the hint about me being aware of their presence I pushed the button on my watch to alert DJ. As if on c, a scream suddenly rang through the house and without second thought I ran to where it came form, Kath's room. 

             I kicked open the door. With a pistol on one hand, I ran inside, searching for any hint of attack. But there was none. Instead, Kath was sitting on the floor, fear was all over her face. I quickly ran up to her and knelt beside her.

"I-- I saw someone.... a-- a man!!" She said pointing at the slightly opened window. I jerked up and peeked to see if there was someone. 

"You sure?" I asked, not removing my stare from the window.

"Yeah, he tried to get in. But seems like my scream frightened him off." Her voice was still shaking and so is her body.

"Let's not be so sure, come on, let's go!" I was took  by suprise when I heard DJ's voice in the room. I glanced back at them and saw Julia rubbing her eyes, she must have just woken up. "I alerted the agency and they are securing the entire area, but we cannot risk your lives! Come, we must go before they come back." He ordered and we followed him to the car. DJ drove to the Agency's estate where we would be spending the night at.

Yaaaaayyy!! an update!! 

pretty short.. sorry :D

Hi guys!! sorry for the looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong wait! I haven't been able to update because of my schedule. "But there was a week break during the 'Habagat'!!" --- SORRY!! I could not write then. I was having a writer's block and I had been having a hard time to actually find time for writting. As much as I love to write, inspiration seems to be a little far at hand. But now that I started attending youth gigs and opening to GOD more, I realized inspiration is all around us.. you just have to open your eyes. :D

But I don't know if my schedule would be able to allow me to write more. but I'll TRY to find time, but thank you for the people who constantly ask for updates and all. please bare with me??? and thank you for staying with me always...
