Personality/Habits:
Tries to act normal and polite, but is sometimes caught talking or scolding herself. She's usually quiet but occasionally snaps at people and becomes terrified of something that's in her head. If she becomes close to a person, she is much calmer and nicer. But, paranoia sometimes has her lose trust in everyone and lash out by kicking in any direction before scrambling to a wall and hugging her knees to her chest. It doesn't happen a lot, but certain things can make her flinch. Like being touched. She never lets anyone randomly touching her without a kick to the shin, until she really trusts them. Her kicks aren't harsh or brutal, they are more of light warning kicks if anything, unless you take her by surprise and scare her to thinking you'll hurt her. Overall, she is a very jumpy and skittish person.

Disorders:
PTSD: Willow seems to get trigged by certain things like the dark and goes into a panic mode. When panicked, she seems to be reliving a trauma, though the doctors don't know what kind. Even Willow doesn't remember after her episode happens.
Schizophrenia: Willow often feels and hears things that aren't actually there, and confuses reality with her hallucinations. She has never actually seen anything that wasn't there, but doctors say that it may get to that if it escalates. Sometimes, her hallucinations prevent her from functioning normally throughout the day.
Self-harms: Willow does not try to hurt herself everyday, but every now and then she has a loud episode of screaming and crying, trying to scratch and bruise at her legs. After a while, she calms down and becomes silent for a moment before "going back to normal." As if she forgot it ever happened.

Fears:
Willow hyperventilates when it's dark, since that's when her episodes of severe hallucinations start acting up the most often.

Family:
Her mother never really gave her much attention, but when she did she was nice to Willow, making sure she was doing well enough in school.
Her father is a sweet, polite man. He always has a smile on his face and made the occasional dad jokes and sarcastic comments. But at home, he's a sick and sadistic person.
She cut ties off with her other relatives, believing it'd be easier if she was alone in her recovery.

Backstory:
Willow's school life was normal. She had friends and crushes, and had good grades. Her goal was to pursue art and become an animator for a movie/show, or illustrate comics. But her home life was horrible. Her dad was abusive as she grew up and her mother had little to no idea about it, most likely thinking that he was only very strict. Then she was eight years old, she started hearing these strange voices in her head, and starting feeling as if someone was poking her when nothing touched her. Espcially when it was dark. She had minor breakdowns, but they worsened when she was ten years old and her parents sent her to a patient ward to be fixed. She officially got out at thirteen, supposedly better.
Her mother passed away when she was seventeen from a sickness never told to Willow, her father keeping it to himself. And the abuse worsened now that her mom was gone.
Her disorder started majorly acting up when she was twenty-one, then again at twenty-six and twenty-seven. Willow drank heavily during these times in hopes to forget everything. She was starting to become scared of herself and of everyone around her, she lost all of her friends and disconnected with other family. Willow decided to drop out of college, losing the opportunity to graduate as a digital artist. She instead she later signed herself in to a patient ward again.
Willow had not told people about her father, she was afraid to speak out about it. She didn't know if it was one of her hallucinations or not, and she would only remember small flashes because of the trauma.

Other:
Willow will draw at anytime, given the opportunity. Her art style is cartoonish yet the things she draws can be disturbing.
