Don't say Goodbye {Ch.5}

Serenity's P.O.V.- 3:00 A.M.

Somewhere between the loud music and the rhythmic moving of bodies across the dance floor I'd dreamed that Alex Foreign had approached me, it had to have been a dream because why in the hell would he approach me. It just doesn't make any sense, and if so what in the world did he mean by he wont stop , that part still has me fucked up. 

I can't bother myself to try and figure out whatever riddles he's left me with or whatever games he's trying to play, I can only simply leave everything be, otherwise it might result in me actually cursing out the arrogant asshole. I turn over in my bed trying to get some kind of sleep, and all at once my body softens and cuddles into my mattress, I've succeeded and sleep welcomes me. Thoughts or rather dreams, silly dreams in fact, find ways to poke at my thoughts and make me think, what more to life is there than just mapping out your future and already knowing your goals. Ha, my dad would have laughed at this but after I succeed, I wonder what else there is to the world than just this. This can't be it....right? Somehow I find away to shut my mind up and just sleep and its not long before that I hear an alarm go off alerting me its time to wake up.The day starts once again routinely and I sigh, 'good morning world.'

3 hours later

" I was wondering what happened to you at the club last night. Look I know it wasn't your scene but did you really have to leave me?" I looked at Regina, " Um....if I remember correctly and I do, because I wasn't the one who was drunk, you left me first to dance with some hot guy. Besides I just went to go sit down." I look  away not saying anything else but Gina's not having any of that."Oh I know, I remember you talking to Alex because I wasn't drunk just tipsy but it looked like you two were getting awfully close, care to explain?" I shake my head fidgeting with the books in my hand as we head to third block, "It was nothing he just acknowledged that he liked my dress"..I stammer and instantly mentally kick myself, there's no way shes believing that  lie now. Like telling the joke without the punchline, its not funny anymore.

Just before we enter the classroom Gina and I are approached by one of the blonde cheerleaders and I distinctly remember her, she was the girl Alex brushed off last night to come talk to me. " Can I help you?" She snorts and looks me up and down as two off her other cheerleader friends appear behind her, " Matter a fact you can, you can do me the amazing favor of staying away from my man..Alex is mine and I can assure you he doesn't date trash he like us attractive girls." I look at her and sigh my days already started off unnecessary, but before I can talk the bitch down Gina interrupts...

"Girl, I know we have never been formally introduced but you are this close,"Gina pinched her thumb and index finger together leaving little space in between them..." To knowing me as the girl who kicked your teeth down your throat and rearranged your esophagus up your ass..' I shake my head at G as the blonde and her squad looked at her in fear and disgust but the head cheerleader quickly recovered. " G chill I said and rubbed her arm lightly, " Look first of all, whether he's your man or not you need to be talking to him because to me it looked like he brushed you off to  come talk to me. Nowhere did I go out of my way to talk to him.. and news flash hoe you getting this close to me with some bullshit like this is gonna get your extensions ripped out real quick. Now if your with Alex go set him straight and all the other broads who approached him throughout the night and are still approaching him right now.

 If your the type of female to hunt every girl down that talks to him go do that, spend your time on that crap but don't ever try to get all ballsy with me cause that won't matter when your teeth are on the floor. The bell wrung and I stepped one foot into Mr. Morgiade's class. But Blondie just couldn't take a hint and she gave a fake laugh, "I got you hoe." I quickly spun to catch Gina as she clapped in the squads faces, "Bitch did you not here her, try me if you want to, I want you to." I pulled Gina trying to move her back, "Come on we've wasted enough time on them. "Next time you delusional, extra, plastic, two faced, fishy bitch". I sighed as we walked into the classroom and they let. "Really Gina?" She laughed but it sounded forced,"I tell you these hoes be trippin hey don't know. I laughed and with that I sat down, this was going to be a long day.

How did I go from normal to crazy in less than ten minutes?

Looking out the window at the moment, seems best than listening to Mr. Glitz lecture us about.. God I don't even know what about to day because my mind is elsewhere, that's a first.

How is it every time I close my eyes I think of him more and more every second...looking up at the clock I count down until the bell rings..when will this day be over.

hours later

Finally home at last I pull into the drive way as my phone beeps and I answer immediately because its Gina,"What do you want loves." She snorts, "Is that any way to answer your best friend?" Sighing I shut the car door locking it, "It is when I'm tired as hell." Her tone completely changes.."Well you might want to wake up considering I gave Alex your number since he kept bugging me to talk to you."running upstairs my mom is sleep on the couch and smiles,"How was your day?"

I nod while conflicted to whether torture or just downright murder Gina,"It was nice I already finished my homework so I'm just gonna grab something from the fridge and go to bed. " She yawned,"Okay hun, night." I put Gina's call to an end right after I promise her,"If he calls me so help me tomorrow I am going to murder you." She laughs and brushes the promise of violence off, 'Come on you needed this, tell me how it goes, bye."

Its going to be a long night.
