Bella
I guess I had to blame myself for the glares I was receiving from both James and little miss Barbie. I couldn't help it, the laugh just slipped out.
"James, babe, let's go upstairs, I got a surprise for you" she winked whilst biting down on her lower lip in an attempt to look 'sexy' and 'seductive'; totally ignoring my existance to highlight my unimportance. That's all it took for the musical air to slip out of my mouth, filling the atmosphere with a high pitched shriek of laughter.
Barbie looked me up and down with a disgusted look curving on her layered face full of makeup.
"Who's the maggot?" she smirked.
Excuse me?
I took a small step forward so I was inches away from her face.
"It's quite funny how maggots live off decaying things, and well, the only thing rotting here is the amount of slap on your face" I was proud. Hell, I was ecstatic. Her face went from smug to completely dumb founded in a matter of seconds.
"I don't know who you think you are but-"
"Im Isabel" I faked a cheesy grin.
"Listen, darling. You really don't know who you're messing with, you're not fooling anyone; I can see right through you "
"Well, it's a shame I can't see through you since you're made of plastic"
Barbie turned red, her nostrils were flaring.
"I can make your life hell, hunny. Don't push me." She stood up straight, her high heeled shoes causing her to grow taller than me; towering over me.
"Sorry Eiffle Tower, you don't scare me."
Barbie's hands turned into half fists; her perfectly manicured claws were preventing her from tightening the grip and giving me a full blown punch to the nose.
The thought of getting hit made me cringe but it was followed by a snicker, knowing that her words were just a front.
"Move out my way or I'll move you myself" she hissed through gritted teeth.
"But, you'll break a nail!" I fake gasped, using my hand to cover my mouth as if I was shocked by what she had said.
If I thought she was angry before, I stand corrected.
That was my queue to leave, my face continuously plastered with an aching grin as I replayed the last few minutes over and over again in my mind.
1 to Bella, 0 to Barbie. This was one game I wasn't planning on losing.

James
The evening felt pretty tense; like all my actions, moves and touches were being watched closely by a hawk. The hawk being my girlfriend.
Ever since the blow out with Bella, Tess felt weak and in some ways, vulnerable. But, that vulnerability only made her stronger and more observant, like a hawk.
"Babe, lighten up" I smiled, gently placing a small kiss on her cheek. She shrugged me away, still glaring.
"Who the hell is she?" Tess demanded an answer; I was hesitant to reply.
How would my girlfriend react to me telling her that her new enemy is my little sisters babysitter who will be spending a whole lot of time around here?
Well, she didn't take it lightly if that's what you thought.
"Fire her, now!" her screams were deafening.
"Hey, listen" I stayed calm and quiet, trying to soothe down the layers of density in the air.
"If I could, I would. That isn't a decision I can make." To her, that line deserved a pillow to the face. I let out a long, stressful sigh, messaging my temple slowly, soothingly.
"And what in the world were you doing just standing there when that mutt thought it was alright to talk back to me?"
Great.
"Sorry, babe, I thought you could handle her, you've never had any trouble keeping other girls in line" Again, my answer deserved a second pillow to the face.
"What made you think I had trouble? I could eat her alive and spit her out if I wanted to. I chose not to, okay? It wasn't the time or place."
Sure.
It took a good half an hour for Tess to transform back to her normal self. The shivering mood relaxed and the redness had vanished from her face.
All the heat caused from the argument with Bella meant that our time to finish our English project for school was shortened; the only real reason Tess came over.
We have to write a piece on Romeo and Juliet; either choosing to focus on their love, the conflict between their families or the tragedy of the story.
Being Tess, she obviously chose to be a very cliché type of girlfriend; thinking that writing about the undying love between Romeo and Juliet will make me soften up to her. News flash, I dont do all that mushy, relationship stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I like Tess, emphasis on the word like; but that's all. She was fun to be around I guess. I love the attention, I don't love her.
She's a complainer, and, believe me when I say; you don't want to be in the same room as her when she's angry. You can call her the start of World War 3.
That definitely doesn't float my boat, it sinks it.
