Chapter 1 - Hold Me Close

Earth 1 - Outskirts of Keystone City

Barry checked his perimeter, from where he stood, all that could be seen was acres of land, where soon the plans for Keystone City would be in bricks, cement and stone. Currently Barry couldn't wait, to try on the Tachyon device, if it all went to plan, this would hopefully be the stepping stone to getting rid of Zoom.

"Okay, you guys" Barry checked his surroundings with the Tachyon device in hand, "I'm here".

"You got my location?" Barry asked Team Flash through the internal earpiece in the suit.

"You're good? You don't need to, like, stretch or something?" Cisco asked from the Cortex in Star Labs.

"No, no, no, I'm good" Barry assured, just eager to test the device out. "I'm good"

"Let's take this tachyon enhancer out for a test drive." Cisco told him

"All right." Said Barry nervously as he attached the Tachyon device to his chest, once attached the device lit up blue, all that was needed was for Barry to take it for a run.

"Hoo, yeah. I feel that." The speedforce begun coursing through his body, Barry immediately felt awake and was now even eager to take this for a trial run.

"That is the tachyon device powering up the Speed Force in your cells like a quick charge battery." Caitlin informed him through his other ear piece, "How do you feel?"

"Different." Said Barry, unsure of how to describe the feeling.

"Let's see how long it takes you to get back here. On my count. Three, two, one. Go!" Cisco counted down.

Barry ran through Central City faster then he had ever run, feeling more connected to the speedforce like never before. His surroundings were further blurred then his normal strolls through Central city.

"Dang, this thing got you cruising." Cisco watched from the monitor.

"How fast does he normally go?" Iris asked intrigued watching both screens.

"Not this fast. Not even close." Cisco said not taking his eyes off the screen as he slurped on his drink straw.

"Are his vitals okay?" Iris asked worried for Barry.

"Yeah, they're perfect." Caitlin checked his vitals, totally surprised.

"Cool." Cisco slurped again in his seat

"It's like having a pit-stop attached to your chest." Iris added

"Guys, I can go faster." Barry said knowing he could push himself further and faster.

"Do it." Cisco told him on the edge of his seat.

Barry ran faster down a long road, faster and faster he went, all of a sudden a blue breach appeared before him and running so fast he went right through the breach. Just like that time immediately came to a halt on Earth with the absence of the Flash.

Earth 38 - CatCo Tower

Typing away on her computer, Kara was lost in her thoughts, revolving around James, due to her little crush on him, though little being an understatement.

Suddenly her thoughts were annoyingly interrupted as her superhearing picked up the ding of the elevator which then came to a halt and the click-clacking of heels begun, peering over computer monitor Kara found Siobhan strolling through like a predator searching for prey.
