Her smile was so charming and I wanted to open her mind up to me. She giggled and flirted the whole time. We cracked joked and laughed like hyenas. She was a true beauty, a gem. I pulled up to her apartment and walked to her door. She gave me a friendly hug and kiss on the cheek before telling me she a great time. I told her I'd call her later.

Business was looking great. The Black Cartel was moving weight and stacking millions easily. It felt good having so much power and authority. All I had to do was signal one of my dudes and your life would be over and if I had to kill you myself, you'd die in the inside before I ever even spoke a word. Niggas feared me and they should. My father put me on a new connect in Guatemala, that he said was legit when he was the leader of The Black Cartel. I pulled up to the family's mansion and a guard nodded me approval to enter. Surveillance was a must when it came to my father. I found him on the patio with a Cuban cigar in his mouth. My father was the Don of Dons and if you feared me you better be horribly afraid of my him. He was deadly without even being seen. He didn't have turn around to know I was there. He simply felt my presence. "Josiah, how have you been?" he said still not turning from the balcony. I could smell the cigar as the smoke danced in the air. "I'm fine pops, I just want to make sure this new connect you want me to meet with is legit. Though he was legit when you were connected to him, how can I be sure he is the same now?" My father turned to me with great pride on his face. "You never let me down and I respect you for that Jo." It would have displeased my father if I wouldn't have met with the connect, because he could have turned snake. I always want to be safe so I would never underestimated anyone if even they were loyal to my father. I had to peep things for myself. My father looked as he was in deep thought. He was the only man that knew how I operated because I learned everything from him. My father had always taught me one lesson that stuck with me "Someone who appears loyal maybe a snake, because even the devil was an angel." Ever since my father taught me that I always watched and observed like a hawk. I never let anyone get close to me because I knew what was at stake. My father taught me many things, but being a snake was not in those things. Loyalty is everything in the Black Cartel. I had family members who were also in the Black Cartel, but we were not allowed to all be in the same state and still be apart of the Black Cartel. Even though my father stressed unity, we were never together at the same time unless under crucial circumstances. I embraced my father as I left and went home to shower and plan a few moves.
