jungkook leans onto his bed side while sitting on the floor. everyone was asleep and he's not done with the knot of proposing yeri yet but  on the same day, yeri told him her crush is dating someone else and she is not okay with it. right now, even without yeri rejecting his love yet, jungkook is broken.

she loves someone else.

based on yeri's emotion and face expression, jungkook is so sure that yeri is serious about liking that man. though, jungkook still has no idea who that man is.

not even taehyung wants to tell him.

jungkook even meet tzuyu to ask about yeri's secret crush but tzuyu didn't know about the male. she never knows yeri likes someone.

when he told tzuyu about yeri, tzuyu was clearly shocked. not only that, tzuyu had to comfort jungkook like forever that evening until they finished their activities with their classmates.

jungkook rubs his face, he goes out of their dorm hostel just to take a better air, as his lung stuffed.

while he walks alone along the dark alley near the beach, he saw someone sitting somewhere on the ground alone, the dimmed light shows clearly  that the girl is yeri's silhouette.

even in the dark, he can tell how yeri looks like.

jungkook was suddenly nervous but he takes a few step towards her anyway. he clears his throat to have her attention on him.

yeri who heard him, quickly turns her face around.  his heart breaks when he saw her eyes are still swollen. eventhough this evening when taehyung talks to her, she said she's okay, looking at her right now, jungkook know that she is still not ok.

"Kook..." she calls out his name upon seeing the man.

he settles for his seat next to yeri. yeri didn't stop looking at the man until he properly sits next to her. she throws her gaze to the dark empty view infront of her. she stares blankly as if she's watching a good movie and her eyes didn't budge slightly.

"are you okay?" he asks, caress yeri's back hair. eyes fixed on her face to see her response.

Yeri glances to him, her dimple appeared as she fought  tears from running down her cheeks. clearly not okay, but she nods anyway.

this liar

jungkook scotted closer to her, pull her head to lean on his shoulder. "you can have my shoulder." he said. without asking or questioning any further, she leans her head on jungkook's shoulder. at the end, her tears fall again. the sound of her sobbing could be heard clearly by jungkook.

she knows she can trusts jungkook.

Jungkook's heart fall into pieces. Not only because yeri likes someone else, but also to see her cry.

"how did you ever like someone without being obvious? plus, not even have me know about it?" jungkook snorted. trying his hard to get rid of yeri's sadness. atleast at that moment.

"we all have secret, kook." she replied, her voice went hoarse.

"oh.... yeah. Okay." he admitted. even his feeling for yeri is a secret he wouldn't want to share to just with anybody.

yeri's arm grasped by jungkook. "you have us though here, if he meant to be for you, you'll have him." he speaks.

"nvm, kook. I don't take my friend's man. though he'll be her ex, doesn't mean i have the chance to." she whispered.

"then, you'll be okay. he'll be just a man who walk passed your life." he rubs her arm, encouraging.

"yeah, he's just my crush. not my first love." she giggles, with a drop of tears fall down on her cheek. She wipes it quickly, still giggling.

jungkook pats her head.

"good." he chimes a compliment.

"kook?" yeri calls his name. with jungkook hummed to her, signalling a 'yes'. yeri asked him, "why were you so moody during the game?"

Jungkook slightly chuckles. "how did you even see when you're moody by yourself?"

"i didn't see it, sorry. Jennie asked me if i fought with you. I told her i didn't. and, she suddenly talked about couples do fight, plus..." yeri laughs shyly, looking at jungkook at her side slightly. "she told me not to be a sulky baby because you looked terrible the whole day, she thoughts you're having a bad time too after our 'fight hahaha." she highlights the fight word.

Jungkook raised his eyebrows, contempted.

"she thoughts we're dating?"

"yeah." she tilts her head. "but, really, that is not the point. why were you so moody?"

"you're the reason." yeri frowns over his answer. "im still frustrated as why didn't you tell me who the guy is." he plays the sand with his hand.

"is that it?"

"and that you cry. You know i dislike to see you cry. Not even when tzuyu cries. It is disturbing to see my friends cry." he added.

Yeri smiles. "glad you said that." i don't want to feel guilty and awkward at this moment, yeri thinks.

flashback-

"you're crying like this because of your one sided crush?" when yeri nods, tzuyu lashes her with, "and fuck you didn't tell us about that crush at all?"

Yeri dunked her face.

"i heard its been four years."

Yeri keep locking her mouth.

"yem, im not mad you keep this from us. I'm mad because you have to tell jungkook that you have a crush and cry your heart over him saying you love that man!"

"what? he's my friend too, tzu. why can't i.."

tzuyu cuts her word, sarcastically laughs. "friend?"

"w-why are you being like this?"

"jungkook likes you, yem. why cannot you see it. Imagine having you telling him, you're heart broken over another man. what would his world be?" half yelling. She's trying not to be so emotional.

"tzuyu....what do you mean?" yeri went speechless.

"he likes you for years too."

Yeri's eyes wandering over all corners.

"how can you not see?" she whines.

They fall into the pit of silence before tzuyu went to the void yeri and hugs her. Yeri dug her face onto tzuyu's stomach, yeri wrapped her arms around tzuyu's waist. They both crying.

"i didn't know. how can i know if he didn't tell." yeri slowly speaks.

"I'm sorry yem, i shouldn't be mad at you for his feeling. but, i've been a friend of jungkook and i thought him as a brother. see him down and crying is not really my liking. he rarely even show me he's moody but he did. he did when he talked about you." she explained. "but, i agree it was not your fault." she added.

"can you please promise me something?"

Yeri looked up at tzuyu.

"don't tell jungkook about this and don't go awkward over him."

end flashback-

"aren't you going to sleep?" asked jungkook. yeri nods, in an instant, jungkook stand up from his seat and grasps yeri's hand with his clammy hand.

he wraps his arm over yeri's shoulder, walking slowly toward to hostel dorm.
