I sighed. I had to tell her the reason which wasn't really a big deal to others.

(Elizabeth) "It's just because..." -I sighed once more.- "I can't leave this one person, who is really special to me, alone."

Then Kate finally spoke up.

(Kate) "Why would you let that person hinder you from pursuing it then?"

I looked down and I didn't know what to say. She does have a point. Let's all agree in that.

(Elizabeth) "What was I really afraid of?" - I thought.

It's basically like eating a feast but the only thing stopping you is the thought of getting fat.

(Elizabeth) "Well, I don't really know." - I responded to Kate.

I didn't know what to expect being thousands of miles away from him.

Throughout the day, I've kept on repeating Kate's question to me. Why would you let that person hinder you from pursuing it then? Well, makeup was passion of mine and I wanted my knowledge of it to increase.

Three o'clock and the bell rang. It was still stuck in my mind like super glue was used as it was put in my head. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I didn't know what to do anymore...

I texted Bianca to meet me up behind our school. I needed someone to open up to. Bianca was a really close friend of mine, and I could trust her with anything I tell her.

Three fifteen o'clock was the time I told her to meet me up. I waited for her while sitting on a bench under a big tree to cover me from the sun.

Three minutes later, someone grabbed my shoulder. I shook and screamed as I got frightened. I turned around while my hand was above my heart and it was only Bianca. For a few seconds, I thought it was a guy. Well, that would be quite embarrassing if a guy heard my scream.

(Bianca) "Liz, it's only me." - She giggled afterwards.

(Elizabeth) "You almost gave me a heart attack!" - I playfully pushed her.

(Bianca) "Oh, I'm sorry." - She laughed even more and stopped after four seconds. - "So, why did you text me? You wanted someone to open up to, am I right?"

(Elizabeth) "Well yeah. I've been bothered about college in New York, because I have to leave every one here."

(Bianca) "Well, you know, I left my dad and friends to stay here, right? I'm just here now with my mom. I didn't know what to expect here, but I trusted my mom. I didn't know who to be with, how to react to people, and when I'll come back." - She tried to comfort me. - "I know, it's difficult. Good things will happen and bad things will. You just have to trust the people you love even if they're all across the world from you."

(Elizabeth) "But..."

(Bianca) "No more 'but's.' If you want to go to New York, make a decision today."

(Elizabeth) "Well, I do wanna go to New York." - I realized."

(Bianca) "Then good." - She smiled. - "Oh, by the way, I'm going home in 10 minutes. I just have to fix some things. Want to walk home with me?"

I agreed since she always passed my house every time she goes home.

While we were walking, I told her about my plans and expectations in New York. It excite me every time I talk about it, I didn't know why.

(Bianca) "Hey, you keep on talking about New York. Are you getting excited about it?" - She laughed.

(Elizabeth) "Well, yeah, I guess. I think, I'm fine with going to New York for college."

(Bianca) "Hmm. Don't forget me, okay?"

(Elizabeth) "I won't." - I chuckled. - "Well, this is my house, so..." - I pointed towards my house. "...I'd be going now."

(Bianca) "Okay Liz. Bye." - She gave me a really tight, yet comforting hug.

(Elizabeth) "Be safe. Bye." - I said after the hug while walking backwards towards our porch.

I'm gonna be honest: I have already accepted the fact that I'm gonna be half-way across the world from him.
