At school, Carrie and Becky go on a rampage.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN? YOU MET HIS FATHER?!"
"OH MY GOD GIRL I AM SO SORRY DID HE HURT YOU?"
"DON'T TELL ME HE HURT YOU! I'MA HAVE TO OPEN UP A CAN OF WHOOP ASS!"
"GUYS CALM DOWN!" I yell at the two. They kept going on about how it was and I finally told them that I met Scott's dad. They instantly knew it must have been bad with the mumble in my voice. It wasn't that bad anyway. He was obviously drunk unless that's how he really is around Scott, which explains a lot. I remember one time he beat up a senior in from of his girlfriend and hospitalized the poor guy. And I wonder what his girlfriend thought, but people say the senior was being an idiot.
Which also makes me wonder why I'm even falling for Scott. He was such a jerk and then now all of a sudden he is being all nice and sweet. It makes me question a lot of things. Maybe he really is just doing this to get me to be his girlfriend. Then break my heart like a cliche movie. I wouldn't want that. I think I need a better guy.
"Orion, can I uh, we gotta talk." I jump to the sound of Scott interrupting my thoughts. I see Carrie and Becky staring at his bruised and cut up face.
"Yeah, let me just get my stuff." I say gently.
"We won't be long." He ensures the girls. Soon he takes me out of the hallway and behind a vending machine.
"Are you okay? How's Moose? And your dad?" I ask before he starts.
"Orion, I am so sorry. I will explain everything to you. Just please let me know first that you're okay? I remember hearing your face splat on the floor of my RV." He asks, gripping my small hands.
"Do you see me? I am fine! Now look at you! What happened?"
"Well, first off, my dad, as always, was drunk. Second, he was coming for my electricity use money and I totally forgot about it. I'm such an dumb ass for putting you in that danger." He said trying to kiss my nose when I pulled away, remembering the things his father said.
"Wait, who's Samantha and Robin? Where was your mother? Scott, I have endless questions you realize that, right?" I sternly glare at him.
"Samantha and Robin are old girlfriends. They're gone now. And that wasn't my mother. It's my dad's dumb shit third wife. She's just like him and if I were you, I wouldn't get in her way. Rion I am so sorry." I couldn't help but let him kiss me. His face was swollen and chubby but I could still feel his sharp cheekbones and jawline.
"Scott, why is your stepmother living in that house with your dad? Doesn't she know what's good for her?" I ask. I know the topic of his parents shouldn't be spoken of and he may feel uncomfortable, but that poor women was stuck living with that crazy man? Unlikely and very dangerous.
"Like I said, dumb shit wife. I think her family is dead so she has nowhere to go so we-my dad, took her in and they got hitched. Anything else you'd like to know?" Scott replied, looking a bit annoyed. My bad...
"Okay, sorry I asked. Hey, how about we go out somewhere...nicccerrr." I mumbled dumbly. Thankfully I made my signature 'adorkable' face by turning my head and shrugging my shoulders. He smirked and put his arm around my shoulder and said, "Yeah, that'd be good."

Omg!! I'm so sorry for not updating in a long time. I understand now that you guys really like this story but I always thought it was just another dumb story I came up with. And I will continue to make it better...hopefully.
