HUNTER'S POINT OF VIEW:
Lisanna-
As we stepped through the portal, I looked at my hand-still locked with Aiden's. I tried to break it nice and calmly, but he just tightened the grip. I sighed and decided to let him get away with it, we walked through the portal in silence, brightness filled the air-I was nearly blind with all the white and the light. Nicolette and Ricardo leaded us the entire way, this is it. Am I really going back? I mean what's going to happen once I get back, more importantly-will my friends be punished worse than me because of saving me? I stop and shiver at the thought, leading Aiden to force to stop as well. He looks back and asks, "What's up?" I tighten the pressure on his hand holding mine and respond, "I don't think I am ready to go back."
Everyone else hears my words and turn around to face me, I look hard at the ground ashamed for what I have said. Emily spits out, "Aww... c'mon dude, your wayyyy better than this! Besides, we are all gonna get in trouble for ditching anyway, so we can get in trouble together, k?" We all laugh at her words and we continue walking through after I nod. I mean for once, I admire Emily's goth-bravery. I continue walking behind Aiden not letting go, no matter how much I tell myself I should let go-I really don't want to. I am still nervous even after Emily's little "pep talk", so this is as much as I can do for now.
We all reach a stop and I finally let go of Aiden's hand, I need to face coming back to camp on my own, I quickly ask Phoenix, ready? All I need is one word to get me going, he tells me, yes I am. I walk behind everybody and Janelle tugs my sleeve right before exiting whispering, "Don't worry, we are here for you." She walks out of the portal and into what I hope is Shambala, I look back once more behind me, then I walk out into broad daylight.
We all walk out to face the entrance of the camp, we can't go around-or else we will be caught. I hear a man's gulp in front of me, and I laugh-I bet it was Kyle. We trudge towards the entrance for the fabulous comeback of ours, yea... I walk in after all the others and I see eyes, hundreds of eyes all setting their sight upon us. I can feel the tension rise as almost everyone present stares at me. Some of the younger Hunters gasp and hide, man my appearance hasn't changed-has it? My comrades surround me like a circle, I walk in the middle and forget where everything is. I have been away for a month now, everything is new to me-again.
Silently we walk amongst the shocked crowd and we are stopped by some of the camp's instructors, we see General Sentire paces to us in quite the speed and doesn't say anything else other than, "My tent, now." Everyone else and I do as told and follow him to his tent, he has a seat as we remain standing-he and the other instructors stare at us for a moment then he begins to speak, "So, how was your little vacation?" Ricardo is the first one to speak up and say, "Listen sir, with all due respect I would like to explain our recent actions." The general eyes him, then nods to his offer ad stays seated to listen. Ricardo takes a deep breath then begins, "That night before we disappeared, you had warned us not to leave or we would be punished, death was also a possibility. Despite that, we left through the forbidden area behind the camp and walked almost a full day just to get to the Airis building, there we killed almost all soldiers and almost one of the 8 leaders of the countries."
"We encountered many enemies, and saved Lisanna before the final decision could be put into action, she was to be shipped to Germasar to rot away in the underground cells." General Sentire says nothing after the explanation, he rubs his beard and Kyle states one last thing, "Oh yea, hey General Crazy, Lisanna practically blew up the entire Airis territory with her flames-it was pretty awesome." The general's eyes almost pop out of their sockets with the last given statement and he adds one thing, "So, you disobeyed orders, stole one of my most precious documents, went to a forbidden area, brought back a Demon with you, and blew up one of the most important locations to the leaders!" We all looked down shamefully he calls me up, "Lisanna Selverine, step forward to me."
