Katie pov.

It's been a week since she had been in the city she was suppose to be getting back to the pack in the evening but for a weird bizarre reason she didn't want to go home stuck in her pent house she head to the shower once shower she put on a black pencil skirt dress with some heels not knowing what to do with her hair she let it hang loose putting on some lip gloss and a little makeup she head out, in all her twenty three years of age she had never like makeup. She didn't want to eat in so she was going to treat herself to one of those fancy restaurants it's not like she didn't have the money for it, she was showed to a seat at the back it was good for her not too bright and was secluded there she eat a food well prepared and a bottle of their most expensive wine she was filled to the brink she couldn't tell the last time she enjoyed some good food she decline on the dessert asking for the bill which she paid then ask for the rest of her champagne to be packed so she can take it with her, she was told she could collect it at the reception desk when she was leaving throughout her meal she kept smelling a scent one that was familiar but could not be place shaking it off she went to the bathroom to freshen her look then exit when she was making her way to the reception she came to a screeching halt her heart which over the years has been slowly beating was beating at an abnormal rate while she blink trying to see if she was just seeing things she thought it was impossible considering her mate died she watch him took his last breath but there he sat not too far from where she was standing smiling and talking to a red head at the table she came out of her mini shock when she saw him slowly take out a small black box from his pants pocket playing with it beneath the table as he look at the girl across from him Katie knew what he was going to ask she didn't know what she was doing when she walk up to their table and take up the phone that was near him she knew it was his phone as she dash out of the restaurant heels and all as she heard him calling after her to stop he caught up with her in the dimly lit alley where he push her against the hard wall so hard that the wind was knocked out of her but that did nothing to dim the sparks that run up her body at their contact.

"Give me my phone." Katie forgot how his voice sound but in that moment hearing his voice had tears forming in her eyes as she stared up at the man she thought she lost, he look the same just ten times hotter and more mature but it was Quan he was Quan the man she thought she lost she didn't think she just act one moment he had her press up against the wall away from his body the next she had reach out towards him embracing him

"Quan how is this possible I watch you die now you are here." He didn't answer but push away from her like she was crazy.

"My name isn't Quan my name is Samuel Pert."

Katie stood there looking at him stunned she gave another once over just to ensure she was correct he was manlier but he was indeed Quan.

"No your name is Quan Alexander Devanchi son to Mary and James Devanchi." he looked at her like she lost a screw.

"I think you have the wrong person lady now give me my phone."

"You don't remember me do you?"

"No I don't, considering I have never met you before now hand over my phone."

The tears that she held in came down on her face as she stared up on him as he looked at her a little worriedly "But you are suppose to remember me you have to." He looked at her with pity "I'm sorry miss but I don't know you as I have stated before you have the wrong person." She let out a frustrated growl before she hold on to his jacket and pull him towards her and kiss him at first he didn't kiss her but when she was about to let him go he hold her and deepen the kiss all too quickly he rip himself away from her looking like he had seen a ghost she smiled a watering smile she knew he felt the connection with that simple kiss they shared holding out the phone which he attentively took from her at a distance before he could walk off Katie reply

"You can't marry her youbelong to me after all I'm your wife I will be seeing you soon Quan sooner thanyou expected." With that she turns leaving a very shock and confuse Samuelbehind.
