The sun had set long ago taking the heat with it. However with so many bodies packed onto the roof, you could hardly tell it was only a nice eighty degrees outside.

The music wasn't loud enough to get us in trouble but I could practically feel the bass beating against me. White twinkly lights were spread around the entire perimeter and camping lamps were placed on small tables next to couches?

How'd they pull that off?

"You made it!" I followed the sound of the high pitched giggle and saw Sadie walking towards us with three red solo cups held tightly in her hands.

"I was thinking I was gonna come and have to get you." She giggled again before handing Ryan and I drink.

I eyed the yellow liquid curiously, cautious of what this drink could be. My brother had drilled into my head, as soon as I started high school, that I should not drink from a cup I did not fill myself. I can hear all the reasons I shouldn't drink it, but one voice encouraging me to.

The old Brin wouldn't drink it. The new Brin would.

Well, I think it's safe to say that my conscious is not the angel on my shoulder, but the devil daring me to leave my comfort zone.

Before I can chicken out, I down the beer in a few quick chugs. God, how I hate the bitter taste of beer, it makes my stomach churn for a moment.

"Brin, those guys over there checking us out. Want to give them a show?" She wiggles her eyebrows as she pulls me to what I am assuming is the dance floor.

I glance towards the couches where I see a group of guys talking and looking over her now and then. I don't know if they are actually staring at both of us or just Ryan but it doesn't matter, I like the idea that I turn heads to, so I gladly decide to give them a show.

Instinctively, my hips begin to move to the music in front of Ryan. Other dancers bump into us, forcing us closer together but we just continue to dance.

I am barely aware of drinks continually being handed to me. Ryan and I lift the jello shot to our lips downing them instantly with a smile.

I feel fingers gripping my hips, before a body is pressed against my back moving to the rhythm with me. I can't lie and say that little red flags are going up in my mind. I haven't been this close to anyone in a long time.

What would Declan say?

I shake the thought out of my head, as the fingers tighten their grip, pulling me impossibly closer until I can feel his growing excitement pressed against my back. Everything begins to spin. The air too thick to breathe as our bodies continue to move together to the music.

I look to Ryan, but she is running her hands through the hair of the guy with her, his hands planted happily on her lower back. Apparently I am the only one who can't breathe. I grip the strangers hands and pull out of his embrace.

"I'm gonna get a drink!" I yell over my shoulder, not bothering to even look at who was dancing with me.

I shouldn't have thought of Declan. I have been doing so well since school started to avoid the subject.

I reach the makeshift bar area and grab a random bottle from the cooler opening it and chugging half of it easily. The alcohol burns down my throat but the strawberry flavor taste really good. It is just what I needed. I know that alcohol isn't a solution but when ever the world gets to overwhelming, it helps me relax.

"You look to young to be drinking." A silvery voice breaks through my thoughts and I turn to face the owner.

The guys stands right in front of me with a sexy smirk and flashing brown eyes alight with mischief. My eyes rake over him in awe, from his defined jaw to the little bit of hair peaking out from behind his...homemade toga?

"well Toga Boy, I wasn't aware that this was a costume party." I try to hide the fact that I was just checking him out but taking another long drink from the bottle.

"It's not." He shrugs and takes a sip from his cup.

"If it's not a costume party why are you wearing a toga?"

"I'm just giving you ladies what you want."

"Oh really, and what do we want?" I say sarcastically.

Toga boy downs the rest of his drink before leaning in. His breath fans my ear and I have to focus on not reaching my hands out to grab at his shoulders or firm looking biceps.

"To see me naked between the sheets." He pulls away with a wink and I momentarily forget how to breathe.

He leans down and grabs two more bottles from the cooler, offering me one.

"I'm Finn."

"Brinley." I take the bottle, skimming my fingers across his in the process.

I should be turned off by his cocky attitude, but surprisingly I am more curious about him. The music continues to beat around us, bodies mixing into colors as the alcohol does what it is supposed to do.

"Lets dance." his hand settles on my lower back and he guides me to the dance floor.

The music begins to thrum in my veins and the colors and faces around us blur as we dance with each other. It seems like I blinked and found my body pressed against his, my hands tight around his neck and his low on my hips. Each of us pulling the other closer, even though not even a piece of paper could fit between us.

How many songs went by, how many drinks we had, I don't know. I just know that my body sparks each time his fingers graze my flushed skin.

"Do you want to go somewhere quieter?" His whisper in my ear causes a shudder to roll down my spine and I nod quickly.

Why can't I have fun. I know what the expectations are of tonight and I am not ruling out that possibility. I am not a virgin, I lost my virginity to a high school boyfriend when I was sixteen. But I haven't done anything sexual with anyone in over a year.

His warm hand encloses around mine as he throws his empty bottle in the trash, pulling me towards the roof door. His free hand reaches out and calls for the elevator before his eyes turn to meet me.

His intense brown eyes look me up and down before his closes the space and captures my lips with his. The kiss is not typical slow first kiss. It is passionate and intense right from the start. Both of our lips moving in perfect harmony, his tongue wasting no time asking for entrance, which I gladly give.

Distantly, I hear the elevator ding, and Finn guides me back until the wall is pressing against my back.  He pulls away to press the '7' button before returning his hands to my hips and his lips to mine.

Readers, Welcome Finn to the story - played by Dylan O'Brien.

I have a question for my readers, so if you are reading and enjoying please answer. Do you want me to include some 'X-rated' chapters in this book or no?

I have been toying with the idea. Ultimately, I don't know that it would add or take away from the story, so I am asking my readers. What do you want?

Thanks for reading
