Chapter 12: Meeting Despair

     "Ryan?" I was in shock to see my friend standing there grinning at me.                                                  

   "Yup," He slid down the garbage. "I came down to get you." He held out his hand, he was carrying a bag.                                                                                                                                                                        

     "Food!" I grabbed the bag that had 6 sandwiches and 4 water bottles. I inhaled 2 sandwiches, I was starving. While taking a drink from my water bottle Ryan looked at me with a worried face.    

  "What's up?" I asked.                                                                                                                                                        

  Ryan shifted uncomfortably. "What is Monokuma going to say. If he sees you again he's, well, he's going to kill you." He stood straight up. "What am I doing here, he's going to kill me too! What the fuck are we going to do! what the..." I stood up and slapped him across the face.               

  "We are going to be fine," I said calmly. "Monokuma is the one who broke the rules. He knows I didn't do it. Marvin killed himself."                                                                                                                               

"What?" Ryan looked at me in shock and confusion.                                                                                            

" Remember how Marvin's left hand was empty," I asked. "He was a lefty. He would have also had slash marks on his arms to defend himself. He killed himself after he killed Coco."                       

      "No," Ryan looked at me, this time with disbelief. "But... no... that's impossible. Why would he kill himself?"                                                                                                                                                                

 "One word, despair." This hit Ryan like a bat.                                                                                                          

"What?"                                                                                                                                                                                      

 "Remember the tapes we saw at our first day? Well, they were meant to give us despair. They contained things that would upset us, wanting to kill and get out of here. Monokuma must have done something to Marvin that made him want to kill Coco and himself."                                                 

   Ryan looked at me with a serious look. "We need to get the fuck out of here.                                       ***************************************************************                                                                        We tried to find a way out of the dump and back into the school. But it was so dark we couldn't read the map Ryan found. "I was keeping this secret, but I need to show you this so we can find a way out. Promise me you won't tell anyone." Ryan told me.
