Chapter 2

Every now and I wake up thinking he's still here. But he's not. I come back to reality. The heart saddening truth.

I used to visit his parents every day, but not anymore. My parents put me in therapy. They think seeing his parents and his house is to much. I don't go to my support group anymore. I still talk with Isacc sometimes.

Today is my first day of group therapy. As I'm walking in a fairly young man, maybe 23 says,
"Oh,My! Hello! Everyone say hello!" Nobody moved. Based on the looks from all of the Adults and teens, the man might of well just said 'Hey everybody, let's make her feel as uncomfortable as possible while shooting daggers at her with our eyes!' After the awkward silence the man says ,
"Um...okay... I'm Mathew. And you are?" My heart skipped a beat as I realized he was talking to me.
" Oh. What? me? Oh, My name's Hazel Grace." There, I have done it. The two worded name 'Hazel Grace' was decided by him. Augustus. Memories raced through my head.
"Hazel Grace. Did your mother pick that name?" Shoot. I sometimes think I should have overcome the pain and death. Instead of him. I deserved to die.
"Um... My friend,uh......He, I mean..........Gus,.......er, Augustus Waters used to call me that." Tears started welling in my eyes.
"Used to?" I instantly started sobbing. He would be disappointed in me. I put my head in my hands as everyone stared at me in the large hollow room with blue walls.
"I think one on one therapeutic counseling would be better for you Miss Lancaster." the man said.
"Okay." I said in a voice smaller than I wanted it to be. I pick up Phillip (my oxygen tank) and start to leave. As I'm walking out I hear a therapist starts to discuss their fears. She asks for volunteers to define their fears. A boy,maybe 19, with dark brown hair and deep green eyes says "Oblivion".
