Hey there! Here's my very first chapter! Woot woot!! Super excited! Again, be warned: there ARE spoilers. I'm so happy that you decided to give my fanfic a chance. Please enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do NOT own Fairy Tail (kinda wish I did tho). I DO, however, own some pretty awesome OCs that will be in the story (like Juniper/June).

Laxus's POV
It's been two months since Juniper disappeared. Ever since that day, the guild's energy has seemed...exhausted. Like the flame of our excitement has been blown out.
No one has gotten a lead about where she might have gone. We've searched and searched and searched and searched. Some people have gone back to taking jobs instead of looking for her. It seems pretty hopeless.
Wherever she is,
I hope she comes back.---
Juniper's POV
Mystogan.
I opened my eyes. Where am I?
Mystogan.
I...I can't remember anything.
Mystogan.
Who am I?
Don't forget your promise.
M-my promise?
My empty gaze surveyed the area. From the look of it, I was on the outskirts of a lively town. But what town? I stumbled to my feet. My legs quivered as if I haven't walked in a long time. Slowly and awkwardly, I scrambled toward the town.
A large sign stood tall at the entrance. It said, "Welcome To Magnolia."
Magnolia? The name seemed familiar somehow.
My hair blew in the wind. I glanced at it. My hair was blonde...no, it was more than blonde. It was gold.
"J-Juniper, is that you?"
Mystogan.
I whipped around to see a boy with pink hair. He looked about 18 years old. When he saw my face, his eyes grew wide in shock. He was feeling relieved, surprised, sad, and worried all at the same time. Wait, how did I know that?
Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain throughout my whole body. My hands shook and my legs grew weak as I crumbled to the ground.
Mystogan.
"Juniper!"
I struggled to look up.
The boy's face filled with fear as he dashed towards me.
My sight grew fuzzy. "Are y-you Mystogan?" I barely whispered.
The pink haired boy put his strong arms around me and held me up, "What? No, it's Natsu! Come on, Juniper! Don't you remember me?"
I was fading in and out of consciousness. It was like my energy was gravitating toward one word.
Mystogan.
"Mysto...gan," I breathed.
"Juniper!" Natsu yelled. His voices shook like he was angry at my condition. Like he couldn't stand to see me like this.
"I'll..I'll b-be...fi-fine, Mystog-gan," my eyes closed.
"Hey, Juniper! Stay with me!"
My mind went blank as I drifted towards the darkness.
---
Mystogan's POV
It was all my fault.
All of it was my fault.
If I had just brought June with me.
If I had believed in her.
None of this would've happened.
None of it.It was my fault.
When I saw Natsu rush in the guild with Juniper in his arms...
I didn't know what to think.
I completely broke down.If Natsu had burst through the door a moment later, I would've been gone. Everyone besides Master was asleep by my magic. No one would've been able to tell me she'd come back.
So now here I am, next to June's bed, wondering what I'll be able to say. Wondering if she'll be able to forgive me.
I placed my hand on hers. She was still unconscious. Natsu said that he found her at the entrance of Magnolia. And that she couldn't remember him. That was the last place that I saw her before she went missing. What had happened?
My eyes started to well up with tears. I trembled as I clenched my free hand. Why hadn't I been there?! I could've saved her! I could've brought her with me!
"It's all my fault!" I sobbed.
I'm so weak! A strong wizard would've been able to rescue her! This wouldn't have happened! She would still be happy and smiling and laughing. And we would've been together. God, I'm so stupid.
Tears fell off my chin and to the aging wooden floor.
"Mystogan?"

Juniper's POV
There was a man at my bedside when I woke up. He had blue hair and a strange marking above and below his right eye. His hand was on mine.
I looked closer. He was crying.
I felt a special aura around him. It felt familiar and warm. It felt safe.
But there was also another feeling. The kind that pinched at your stomach and made your eyes dart away. Guilt.
"Mystogan?" I whispered.
Almost immediately, he looked up. Then he started to stare at me for a long time. Tear stains were noticeable on his cheeks.
He gave me a sad smile.
"You're Mystogan?" I asked cautiously.
His face fell and his emotion changed from relieved to hurt.
"Yea, it's Mystogan," he mumbled.
I placed my hand on his cheek, "Don't cry because of me. It's okay. You don't have to cry."
Mystogan looked up again. He chuckled, " Look at you. You're sick and in bed and you worry about me. That's just like you."
"Is it?" I asked curiously, "What was I like?"
A tear slid out of his right eye, "So you really don't remember..."
Slowly, Mystogan stood up like he had to leave but didn't want to. He squeezed my hand before letting go. At the doorstep he stopped and smiled.
"You were wonderful."
----------------------------------------------
Soooooooooo how'd you like it?? FYI Laxus is going to be sort of nice but not really. Wow that didn't make sense. He's going to be like he was after the whole "Thunder Palace" incident. Kind of mean but a good hearted person.
Anyway, please leave some comments! I want to know how I'm doing!!
Thank you! I hope you enjoyed it!
