Hello again! I'm glad you decided to keep reading this!! I'm sorry this took so long to write!!!! 😖 The reason why I couldn't publish sooner was because I couldn't get a hold of my iPod. But anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter! Also: there ARE spoilers!
Disclaimer: I do NOT own Fairy Tail. But, I DO own my OCs. (There will be more introduced besides Juniper! *squee!!* I can't wait!)
Alright, let's get this chapter started!
----------------------------------------------
Mirajane's POV
I saw Mystogan tuck his blue hair into his mask as he left Juniper's room. So, it was true. Juniper was the only one who's seen Mystogan's face. It left me curious, wondering why he only spoke to her. Why he trusted her.
"Mystogan!" I called out.
He turned towards me.
"Is she alright?" I asked.
A simple nod was given before Mystogan rushed out the guild doors. What a truly mysterious man. But it was what I expected. He's kept his whole life secret from everyone except Juniper. Even Master doesn't know anything about him.
I slipped into the room Juniper was in. I trusted Mystogan's word, but I wanted to see her for myself.
"Juniper?" I spoke softly

Juniper's POV
When Mystogan left, I couldn't hold back. Tears fell freely from my eyes. I heard the pitter-patter of them when they hit the sheets. It sounded like when rain first starts to fall.
I didn't know why I was crying. It was as if the sadness I had felt radiating from Mystogan transferred into me. My hands clenched the white sheets in frustration. I don't know who I am. I don't know who anyone is.
Irritation and confliction built up inside of me. It's like when you have a word on the tip of your tongue but you still can't seem to grasp onto what it is. Except it wasn't as unimportant as a simple word. It was my memory. My memory was on the tip of my mind, but I couldn't remember anything.
"Juniper?" someone whispered.
I looked up.
Standing at the doorway was a white haired woman. She was extremely beautiful. Her eyes were a kind dark blue and she gave off an aura that made me want to trust her.
The woman gasped, "Why are you crying? Is everything alright?"
I glanced down at my hands, "I don't know.." I mumbled.
She stood there for a moment as if she was uncomfortable around me. Like my presence made her uneasy.
"Ah," she nodded her head like she understood. My eyes narrowed, " Who are you?"
The white haired woman looked so taken aback, I almost regretted speaking. I saw her feel genuinely perplexed and remorseful.
Once she collected herself, she placed her hand on mine.
"I'm Mirajane. It's nice to meet you, Juniper," she smiled.
I turned away. How many people was I hurting by not remembering them? What if there were other people worrying about me, but I didn't even know?
Thoughts and questions haunted me throughout my mind. I felt like I was going insane.
"Mirajane?" I asked, " What do I look like?"
The kind smile never left her face. She grabbed a small mirror off of the side table next to the door.
"Here," Mirajane gently set the silver mirror into my shaking hands.
I felt scared for some reason. Scared and pathetic. But, these emotions weren't coming from someone else. They were my own. I mean, I couldn't even remember my appearance.
Slowly, I raised the mirror to my face. The reflection showed a girl with big lavender eyes and gold hair. I looked like I was about 17 or 18. Freckles were scattered across my cheeks.
For a long time, I continued to stare at my own reflection. It was strange not being able to recognize myself. I touched the mirror with my fingertips to see if what I was looking at was real. All if a sudden, I began to wonder about my past. Who was I? Where had I come from? Once again, questions filled up my brain.
"I don't know who I am," I spoke aloud, "I can't live like this. I want to understand myself."
Tears formed at the corners of my eyes. My cheeks were already wet from crying earlier.
I looked up,"Mirajane, I don't know what to do.."
Mirajane sat down in the chair Mystogan had sat in from before. She started to pet my head to comfort me.
"I believe you were 13 when you joined Fairy Tail. You said that you were a Dragon Slayer and you were taught your magic by a dragon named Sparrow, the Celestial Dragon."
I gasped,"You knew who I was?"
She nodded her head and smiled,"You had a bad temper, but not as much as Natsu or Laxus did. It was like you were hiding a bad past, but refused to talk about it. No one knows very much about you, except Mystogan, I'm guessing. You were always running off with him to who knows where. We never saw you at the guild much and when we did, you were sweet, understanding, and joyful. In a way, I looked up to you even though I was older.
"But there was always something strange about you. Well, not you, but your magic. You could use Dragon Slaying Magic like Natsu, but you could also use Gate Keys like a Celestial Wizard. No one has ever heard of that ever happening. It was practically impossible. When we asked you why, you would shrug your shoulders and say, 'It's just always been that way'. But, I'm pretty sure you told Mystogan about your past. Maybe he should be the one to tell you all this, not me."
Hastily, I sat up and ripped off the thin sheets. My bare feet touched the cold ground and a shiver went through my spine.
"Uh, Juniper, I don't think you should get up yet," Mirajane had an overwhelmed look in her eyes.
"Where can I find Mystogan?" I questioned anxiously.
Mirajane bit her lip and fidgeted, "No one really knows where he goes...I'm sorry."
I stood up. Determination flowed throughout my veins. I had to speak with him. I had to know who I was. Mystogan was my only choice.
My legs started to run on their own out of the door and into the guild hall. A short, old man noticed me.
"It's good to see that you're awake and well, Juniper," he smiled.
"There's no time," my breath quickened, "I have to find Mystogan."
Before the man could answer, I bolted out the door, looking for the ticket to my past.
Mystogan.
