I woke up to the sun shining through my balcony, it was so pretty and peaceful today. I looked down to see Mark talking to Cry, Ken, Jack, and Ethan. I couldn't make out what they were saying but Mark just ran back into the castle.
A few minutes later I heard knocking on my door. I opened it to see Mark standing there the same bright glow in his eyes but more anxious. "Hey Mark" I said "Morning, Amy" he said "What are you doing here so early?" I asked
"I was wondering, since you like art, and have been wanting to get out of the castle, would you want to go to slab city with me?" Mark asked as my face lit up. I've always wanted to go to Slab City and now thanks to Mark I can finally go.
"Okay, but I need to get dressed" I laughed as I went back into my room. As I opened my wardrobe I ignored all the pretty dresses and picked something more "normal" to go out in.

I opened the door and grabbed Mark's arm dragging him down the hall. I was way too excited. Outside there was a brown horse that Mark got onto and afterwards he helped pull me up.
"Hold onto me" he said as I wrapped my arms around him. It was all such a rush, it felt so new. We were passing through deserts. I got to see so much.
Mark had took me to Salvation Mountain. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. All the colors and art, I was beyond inspired. "Do you like it?" Mark asked smiling next to me.
I turned to him glowing with joy in my eyes. "I love it! Mark, this is amazing!" I said hugging him. He stood shocked but hugged me back blushing. "I'm glad I made you happy Amy" he said
This was the first time ever that I was out of the castle, and got to go somewhere to see something so beautiful...and it was all thanks to Mark.
Eventually we had to go back to the castle. Mark was walking me back to my room and I was still the happiest I've ever felt. "Thank you, for today." I said smiling up at him. "No, thank you, It was my goal to see you happy with something you love" Mark said sweetly.
And right at that moment, we both found are selves coming closer to one another, then I felt his lips on mine...⚘
