Cuphead X Shy! Reader

You scoped around the meadow hoping to hide from The blue Blob that chased you from your small hide out.
Earlier when you had the time to yourself, The Blue Blob, Goopy El Grande.
Time skip...
You looked back to see if he was gone.
Turning your head you sighed a bit in relief that nothing but Trees stood behind you.
Out of instinct you clung behind the closest tree when you heard a loud voice startle you.
They were cheery and Happy.
You saw that the voices belonged to two boys.
Playing Hide and go seek.

"Okay Mugs you hide this time! And I'll count!" One of the two speaks
He had a cup for a head, wore red shorts, a red bendy straw, and brown ankle boots. Similar to his brother who wore blue.

The one in Blue agrees and runs off to hide. You were still hiding behind the tree. As you watched the two go about and play their game.

Blue One, "Mugs" runs off and into the meadow passing by you without noticing and hides behind a large Boulder nearby.
Once The boy in red finishes counting to ten he yells
"Ready or not!"

The Boy in red Runs towards your hiding spot. Tagging your shirt saying
"You're it Mugs!" He cheers

He looks down to you and in a shocked or startled face he says
"You're not Mugs! Who are you?"

You crawl back a bit.
And quietly say "(y/n)."
"(Y/n)? That's a cool name. I'm Cuphead. And I'm looking for my brother Mugman. Could you. If you're not busy help me find him?"
You nod with a smile and look to the direction of the forest where he ran past you.
You nudge your head a bit to the direction. And point.
But Cuphead didn't get what you were trying to say.
"What?" He looks to where you're pointing. "You mean somewhere over there?"

You nod a bit.
"Okie Dokie then! Let's go find Mugs"

You were at that point were sitting on your legs and somehow had a slight trouble getting up and Cuphead noticed this.
"Need a hand?" He smiles reaching out for your hand.
You grab his hand and up you go!

"Now lets find Mugs!" He runs ahead of you.

Lets just say you aren't much of a fast person so you were more of a slow jog pace (you weren't jogging though, you were just a very slow runner)
Cuphead sighs and grabs your hand again and starts running again.

Time skip..

Once you two were in the Forest Deep enough you two got a little lost.

Cuphead tries to be the "big man" and tries to look around for anyway to get out of there.
No luck.

"M-maybe we should try calling Mugs?"
You suggested.

"Mugs! Okay you win! Come out! Help us find a way out of here!"

It was getting dark and no sign of Mugs anywhere.
You two had gave up and just started walking to the way you two hoped was the right way back.
"Hey Cuphead?"
"Yea?"
"I hope I wasn't bugging you at all or in the way. I feel like this is my fault. I knew where Mugs went but I guess we missed him."
"Don't worry (y/n) you weren't a bother to me! And besides at least we're close to finding him."
"You think?"
"Yep!"

Silence.....

You heard a rustle in the bushes and a slight growl coming from behind you.
You turn around and at the same time Mugs jumped out of the bushes and screamed.
You panicked and clutched to Cuphead for protection.
"Aaaaah!"

"Hey guys! You guys forgot about me!"
The blue boy says
"Forgot? We were looking for you!" Cuphead yells
"Where were you?"
"Oh... Cool! Well I was hiding behind an old log then after awhile I saw that I was standing on a pile of fire ants and so I hid in the lake for a while until I forgot how to breathe under water. so when I was looking for another spot to hide and then I found you guys and just followed you guys all the way here!"
"Okay one Mugman. You can't breathe underwater two. Why didn't you say anything?! And three WhY WErE you just foLlOwing us if you KnEw We WEre Lost?!"
Mugman shrugs
(Y/n) shrugs
Cuphead sighs in annoyance.
