Cuphead X Winged! Fem! Reader

You met Cuphead maybe two months ago, you didn't remember because you didn't keep track of the time.
He found you when you sprained your wing, you remember it like it was yesterday.

It was a very windy morning,
More windy than other days you flew along with your flock.
They weren't the same species as you, though because they were doves and you're a girl with bird's wings that were darker than a white dove's.
There were high trees that caught you when the wind pushed you down from the sky, but that ended up you losing the ability to fly temporarily as it sprained upon impact against the surface you landed on.
It was a little early in the morning, so you were alone as you hoped there were no predators around that could attack, you took no chances and climbed a tall tree and waited for your wing to heal.

Until you heard a sudden snap of a branch from under you. And for a split second you saw your life flash before your eyes.
Before landing on something when you impacted the ground.
"Crap. That hurt."
You glanced what you had landed on and gasped that you landed on a little boy.
"Oh my Gosh, are you okay?!" You screamed, picking yourself up swiftly.
The boy sputtered and it seemed you hurt him badly.
He picked up his head and you notcied a chip on his cup like head
Your eyes widen wider and you tried to help the boy to his feet.
"I'm so sorry. I hope you're okay."

..Time skip..

You and Cuphead became fast friends. As you and him tried to nurse each other back to health.
And once your wing healed you flew to where your wings could carry and sometimes took cuphead, but he'd have a time where his family needed him home.
And it was one time that you got homesick and wanted to find your familiy of doves.
You asked Cuphead if he would go with you and you could carry him on your back or with your arms. Since he didn't weigh that much.
He sadly frowned and reminded you he had a family to take care of.
But he walked with you when you prepared for your journey flight.

As you flew off he stood still watching you, as you flew into the distance.

Every now and then you visited Cuphead and brought your flock.
Then you would migrate home.

Until they meet again
