As I sat down in the big swirling chair that now belong in 'my' new office,

All I could think about was how I got here.

Three reasond:

Jason

Tyler

The internet

As much as I hated Tyler, he was a reason that I got my dream job and got one step closer to find out what this is in between me and Jason.

" Kira!  Hurry up! We're gonna be late! "

Jason shouted from out side my apartment.

" I need my coffee! HURRY UP! "

Snapping back to reality I grabbed my bag and keys and rushed out the door.

Not realizing what I had done until I shut the door.

"Holy crap! I didn't see you there! "

I said reaching out my hand to help Jason up.

He smiles rubbing his head.

"Yeah! Clearly! "

"I'm sorry! Want me to kiss your Bo-Bo and make it feel all better? "

I apologize with a little touch of Kira sarcasm added to it.

After running to my car and quickly driving to Starbucks for coffee we headed to the office.

" It's you first big meeting today! So are you terrified or just scared? "

Jason asked.

" Nether! I don't care what anybody thinks of me! "

I said while sipping my warm vanilla cappé.

He just stared at me grinning.

" I think you've been in high school for to long. "

" What's that suppose to mean? "

I asked frowning.

" Wow you are defensive! "

He said insulting me.

" You insult me again I'm gonna make you walk!"

I threatened him shutting him up.

As I drove us to work I noticed Jason glancing from me to my coffee over and over again.

" You better not be eyeing my baby! "

I said gesturing to my coffee.

He gasped

"I would never! "

Placing a hand on his chest, he hunched over dramatically.

" Come on Kira! You mad me wait outside your apartment for 30 minutes this morning, please just a sip! "

He whined like a 5 year old.

I rolled my eyes.

" Fine, but you owe me a scone! "

                 .......

After I parked Jason rushed in mumbling about how we're late or what ever.

I toke my time walking in to my office throwing away my coffee and setting down my keys.

Grabbing my brand new meeting folder that the new intern probably placed on my desk I walked into the conference room.

Just then something hot next to my chair caught my attention. He was tall and  muscular. You could see his biceps through his hoodie.

"Kira? "
