Don't give up

Chapter 3

Hey guys!!! So I've recently come back to write on Wattpad and decided it would be silly to leave this book at 2 chapters so I'm going to try and finish it off for those of you who began reading it :D Now i have much more time to write so I am going to put priority to writing my other book and will continue writing this one also. I feel Jason sit beside me and wrack my brain for an excuse to leave the lunch table, the embarrassing scenario from earlier fresh on my mind. I feel him tap my shoulder and turn to face him hesitantly.

"Hi, I'm Jason, I believe you were in class with me earlier?" He smirks and holds his hand out to me. I look at it awkwardly and shake it.

"Yea, I'm Ella."

"Nice to know your name, i mean i just think of you as the girl who stared at me in class," he says making my jaw drop and my cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"I was not staring!" I pull my hand away and start to eat refusing to look at him, my cheeks heating up making me look like a red pumpkin. Thankfully i hide it with my hair. I hear him laugh but decide to ignore him.

"So, Jason, what brought you here." I hear my friend ask and feel Jason stiffen beside me. Earlier comments forgotten, i look over to him curiously.

"Just a change of scenery," he says before changing the subject. Obviously there is more to the story but no one asks further questions and we finish up lunch before the bell rings, cutting off any conversations we were having. 

I collect my things and get up to walk to class, as always Sindy and I exit the lunch room together and start walking to class.

"So, Jason's cute isn't he," she giggles and nudges me with her shoulder.

"He's alright," i trail off acting nonchalant as we approach our lockers to collect our books for our physics class. 

"He is more than alright and you know it!" I look at her and roll my eyes.

"Well if you want him, you can have him I'm through with the male population." I sigh trying to block off the image of Tyson kissing another girl. Stacy is about to reply when i see her snap her mouth shut and glare behind me. At the same time i feel someone approach me. I spin around to look behind me and take a step back when i realize its Tyson. Speak of the devil and he shall appear.

"Hey babe," He says casually and smiles at me, "I tried calling you this morning to tell you I was going to be late but you never answered." He looks so innocent as he says this. As if he hadn't been eating another girls face off the day before.

I slam my locker shut and turn around to walk away, not bothering to answer him. I walk away and hear Sindy going off at him in the background. Thankful for the easy escape i rush towards my class. Not looking where I'm going i run head-first into someone and almost fall back from the force. The hands of the person i collided with reach forward and grab onto my shoulders saving me from falling and i look up into the face of Jason. I reach up to wipe my tears hoping he hasn't noticed and look back down to the floor. 

I collect myself quickly and mumble a quick "Sorry" before running off and entering my class. I barely hear him call out if I'm alright as i enter the class and take my seat. I feel bad for ignoring him but i didn't want to deal with any questions at the moment.

So, I thought id at least publish this short chapter as a little comeback to writing this story. I will try and write a longer one this weekend if not on Tuesday :D
