Yoongi had decided that it would be unnecessary to make their date that big of a deal. That's why he wanted for them to go immediately and not decide for a specific day. Maybe it wouldn't feel that strange if they just went for it right away without putting too much thought into it? That's the way he prefered it, at least.

Jimin however seemed nervous as he walked next to him towards the cafe. His hands even seemed to tremble, and Yoongi debated whether or not he should perhaps take the male's smaller hand in his to try and calm him down. Maybe it would just get worse, who knew.

"Jimin, do you want to hold hands?", the older asked, and saw how the younger responded by first looking around, probably to make sure no one he knew saw them, and then nodded.

So Yoongi took the other's hand, feeling how it fit perfectly in his bigger one.

They continued to walk in a comfortable silent while simply sharing warmth until they reached the small cafe.

Inside it was pretty simple with small tables here and there and some strange art work on the walls. The walls were in white, and the room gave off the feeling of youth.

"Do you want to sit by the window?", Yoongi asked and Jimin nodded. He found it cute how the other seemed quite nervous as if he had waited long for this moment, which he according to Taehyung actually had. "With words?", the older asked, not finding the nods to be enough as answers.

Jimin looked up at him, and Yoongi spotted the male's red cheeks. "Yes, hyung."

"Alright.", Yoongi gave him a small smile, and then took him to one of the tables by the window and let go of his hand so they could sit down.

"What do you want to order?"

"A chocolate muffin and vanilla milkshake.", Jimin replied, seeming less nervous now after Yoongi had reminded him about the fact that he was able to speak.

"Alright.", Yoongi said, and called the person who worked there. The cafe was small enough to only have one waitress working, who he assumed had also baked everything.

She hurried over, her brown, smooth hair jumping behind her, and then gave them a glossy smile. "Have you decided what you would like to order?"

"Yes, a chocolate muffin, vanilla milkshake, a black coffee, and a blueberry muffin.", Yoongi replied, and she walked off and soon returned with everything.

"Call me when you're ready to pay.", she said and gave them a small bow before she walked back behind the counter to do whatever.

If he would have visited this cafe a few weeks ago he might have put some effort into flirting with the girl. She was pretty, after all. However, he had realized something and that was how much prettier Jimin's smile was than any smile he had ever seen on any girl.

"Hyung, do you want to taste?", Jimin suddenly asked, holding the chocolate filled fluffy brown muffin in front of him while looking at Yoongi with curious and expecting eyes.

A small grin found its way to Yoongi because of the guess in his head that went he's probably seen this in some romantic movie. He has never been on a date before and only knows about dates he's seen in romantic movies.

______

Jimin had never been on a date before, if one didn't count his and Taehyung's pizza dates as actual dates. So the only experience he had was with stupid romantic movies, and he figured sharing food was a romantic gesture so that is why he decided to offer Yoongi a taste of the delicious looking chocolate muffin he ordered.

The older's lips moved closer to the muffin until he took a small bite, some crumbs dropping down on Jimin's hand which he held underneath the muffin.

"Mmh, it tastes really good.", Yoongi said while smiling at him, which made Jimin smile as well.

Jimin also took a bite, and let out a humming sound since the taste pleased him.

"Would you like to taste mine too?", Yoongi asked, and held the blueberry muffin in front of Jimin. Jimin took a small bite with crimson cheeks.

Then they simply enjoyed chatting with each other, and the tension had completely vanished. Yoongi talked about his passion for music, and especially playing the piano, and Jimin talked about how he enjoyed dancing and singing. They realized how they definitely had music in common.

"Bangtan Snails is my absolute favourite group.", Jimin said with a big smile, and Yoongi nodded since he liked them as well.

It was nice to hang out with Yoongi and not feel the need to focus on anything or anyone else. Yoongi didn't even seem interested in talking with the pretty waitress!

Suddenly however they were interupted. Having a normal date, just the two of them, really was too good to be true.
