It had been a few weeks since the car accident. Kenzie and Summer were both fully recovered. Iain had been helping Kenzie out a lot. He knew she was struggling so much since Andrew had killer himself.

When morning came, Iain woke on Kenzie's sofa. He remembered they had stayed up late talking about Andrew. Kenzie loved hearing about the love of her life. He always made her smile.

Summer came downstairs and giggled. "Me am a little girl," she said.

Kenzie grinned and let Summer climb on her lap. She took Iain's hand. "I ove daddy, mummy and daddy Iain," Summer said.

Charlie and Duffy had offered to take Summer out for the day. Kenzie was glad she had them both. She didn't know how she would cope if she didn't have the support.

Iain smiled at her. "Fancy coming into work with me?" He asked.

Kenzie nodded. "I'd love that. Thanks. I'll go and get dressed," she said.

Iain smiled again. He watched as Kenzie walked upstairs. He knew in that moment he was developing feelings for her. He knew it was wrong because she was still grieving over Andrew's death.

Iain and Kenzie went into the ED. Connie smiled at her. "I've heard from Iain that you have an administration degree."

Kenzie nodded. "Yeah. But since Andrew died, I've not put it to much use. I've wanted to be there for my daughter," she said.

Connie smiled. "Well I'd like to offer you a job as a receptionist. Only for mornings. I know your daughter comes first."

Kenzie was shocked. She had been offered a job. "Could I think about it?" She asked.

Connie nodded. "Of course."

Kenzie walked outside to Iain. Iain smiled. "Alright?"

"Mrs Beauchamp has just offered me a job. Receptionist," she said.

Iain nodded. "Yeah. I told her about your degree and she needs someone to help Noel out," he told her.

Kenzie grinned and hugged him. "I owe you so much Iain. You've changed mine and Summer's life so much in the past three months."

Iain smiled. He loved being able to help Kenzie out. Especially after he had promised Andrew he'd do whatever he could for her. "I'll always be here for you Kenzie. I promise."

Charlie had asked Kenzie if he and Duffy could keep Summer overnight. Kenzie agreed but only if they were sure they could cope with her.

Iain walked over to Kenzie who was talking to Connie. "I've accepted this job. I start next week," Kenzie told him.

Iain grinned. "That's amazing Kenz. I knew you'd accept it," he said.

Kenzie rolled her eyes but smiled. "Yeah Yeah."

Iain took Kenzie back home. Kenzie smiled. "Do you wanna come in?" She asked.

"Sure."

Iain and Kenzie went inside. Kenzie made them both a coffee. They sat down together. "Andy would be proud of you Kenz. You've come so far."

Kenzie grinned. "Do you think so?"

"Course."

Suddenly, Kenzie planted her lips onto Iain's and kissed him. Iain kissed back. But did they regret it?
