He leans in and presses a tender kiss on my forehead.

"I guess I'll see you around," He whispers softly, his hot breath warming my face.

With that said, he shuts the door simultaneous to my eyes.

After eight long nights sleeping and only laying on a hospital bed surprisingly accompanied by my dad, I am finally home. Well, at least Ethan's house where we're spending our time. I don't know how long we will be staying.

My father said "two more nights " but it doesn't really seem like it...

"Oh honey," Mrs Wembley welcomes me, rushing towards the door to help take my things and then hugs me kindly. "You must've gone through hell!" She exclaims, shaking her head non-stop.

"I wasn't conscious for most of it to be honest," I say, failing miserably when trying to lighten up the mood.

"Dinner is already set on the table. Your parents are here and so is Lily!" She exclaims, as I suppose Ethan is here too.

I walk through the short hallway covered by vintage frames with pictures of Ethan. There's one that really grabs my attention. It's a much bigger frame, of a little girl. I think I have seen her somewhere before, she looks extremely familiar.

My eyes however, are automatically locked on Ethan's. He looks so handsome. It's the first time, I notice, that he wears a light colour. Blue looks good on him.

When we make eye contact, he coughs uncomfortably and a second later, Lily comes up from behind and embraces him. Ugh.

I break the contact as he smiles at her. He seems like a completely different person around his parents. A sweet, innocent boy.

"Amelia, sweetheart, we have a seat for you right there in front of Ethan and Lily." Mrs Wembley directs. Fudge.

"Hi, Amelia! OMG you look so pretty today! Considering the.... you know," You can say accident honey, it's not Voldemort.

"Thanks?" I say, not being afraid of emphasisjng the fact that it's actually a question.

Everyone takes their seats. I don't look at Ethan for the first half an hour. Everyone is pressuring me with questions about the accident and what I remember, but the thing is, they know more about what happened than I do.
