Kyungsoo woke up to a the sound of his phone buzzing on the night stand. Yesterday he had given Jongin his phone number, and since Kyungsoo only had one "friend" in the world, which was Jongin, it couldn't be anybody else but him. Kyungsoo got his phone and read the text.
Jongin:Do u wanna go 2 the amusement park td?
Kyungsoo shot up in excitement. Today was gonna be a fun day for Kyungsoo, which is probably the first day to even go out in public, other than school. School wasn't happening untill a month later, since winter break just started last week. Why not go have fun for once? Kyungsoo quickly wrote his response and proceeded to get ready.
Kyungsoo had never felt so excited to go out, ever. He wore his tight black jeans, his nicest black shirt, and his best high tops. He wanted to make sure everything went just right. Of course, he added a spray of cologne, and even made sure to comb his hair well. Though he knew it would take only a matter of time before his hair was a mess again. Kyungsoo was starting to consider this a date, even though he knew him and Jongin were just friends right now.
Jongin was already waiting outside for Kyungsoo as he stepped out. He stopped for  a while, feeling suddenly shy infront of Jongin, who was dressed pretty damn hot. Jongin was wearing a long sleeve, black and white sweater with the words 'guns are my aesthetic'. His pants were also black, tight jeans. He was wearing timber boots that looked fresh out of the box. Jongin looked Kyungsoo up and down, admiring him. Then, smiling sweetly up at Kyungsoo, Jongin gestured with his head that they should get going.
Jongin offered to pay the bus on the way to the nearest amusement park. It was filled with locals, families, singles, and couples. There was noise everywhere as the two neared a ticket station. A little girl, not far from where Kyungsoo and Jongin were standing, had a giant cotton candy stick. Jongin made a sly joke about the little girl getting diabetes as they watched her stuff the entire thing in her little mouth.
"Well that's good practice for when she grows up. Then she'll have to suck really big things." Jongin laughed out loud while Kyungsoo joined him.
The two decided they would go to the haunted house first. Then they would go to the roller coaster, and maybe the kids pool of balls, like why not?
It was two whole hours later when Jongin and Kyungsoo decided that they should head home now. They had gotten so close, laughing at inside jokes and making fun of each other as they tripped over little running kids. Kyungsoo realized, it wasn't that bad being friends with a person, or maybe Jongin was just special. They took the bus home, but instead of splitting up, Kyungsoo invited Jongin over to his own apartment. Jongin looked around, the place said a lot about Kyungsoo's personality. Since Jongin had learned how to read people from past involvements. He could tell Kyungsoo was the type to not interact with people.
"So you're just like me." Jongin said, approvingly.
"You don't like people. Because their the reason for your past. Same..."
Kyungsoo thought about that. So Jongin was also a hater of humanity? What really happened to his parents that Jongin feels the same way as Kyungsoo? Could it be possible that their parents were on the same plane, or something? Whatever the reason was, Kyungsoo had learned that Jongin wasn't very keen in sharing anything about that sort of truth.
They sat on Kyungsoo's favorite couch, Jongin comfortably slumping down. They were tired from running around at the park, the giggles hadn't even left them yet. Kyungsoo sat cross legged with his hands on his lap, not sure how to start a conversation. So he just decided to offer Jongin a glass of water, which he agreed to. While finishing the cup in a few gulps, Kyungsoo noticed the way Jongin's Adam's Apple bounced in his through with every gulp. The sight made him somehow feel a little heated. Jongin lolled his head towards Kyungsoo, looking up at him through his lashes as if he were drunk. Jongin seemed to stare at Kyungsoo for a while, he seemed to be taking in every inch of Kyungsoo's body. Kyungsoo could have sworn he saw Jongin's eyes darken a little when they rested at his crotch. Kyungsoo didn't notice that his buldge was clearly visible through the the tight fabric. Jongin chuckled softly and came a little closer to where Kyungsoo sat. Without warning, Jongin flopped down and layed his head on Kyungsoo's lap. Kyungsoo got surprised, and looked at Jongin like he had another head growing on him.
"Is there something wrong with this?" Jongin asked with concern.
"N-no, I just...It's the first time someone lays on my lap like that." Kyungsoo muttered, a bit flustered.
Jongin smiled at Kyungsoo's awkwardness. He thought it was the cutest thing ever.
"You know, you're really soft and squishy, right?" Jongin said, laughing.
Kyungsoo wasn't sure what that meant, so he gave Jongin a confused look. Jongin sighed heavily.
"I've been trying to say that I like you, but I guess I can't really find the right words." Jongin explained.
Kyungsoo blushed hard, he was hoping this would happen. He giggled and looked down shyly. He ran a small hand over Jongin's soft skin. Jongin's skin really looked like he had gone skinny-dipping in honey, so smooth and fresh. A smile played on Kyungsoo's lips as he continued to tease Jongin's arm with his fingertips, tilting his head the side.
"Well, I was hoping you'd say that ever since we met. I really like you. Surprisingly, since I usually don't think much of anybody." Kyungsoo said in a soft tone.
There was silence for a while. All they did was look at each other in the eyes, while Kyungsoo still caressed Jongin's arm. Jongin got up from his spot on Kyungsoo's lap and nudged himself closer to Kyungsoo. He slowly came closer to his face and gave a small, sweet peck on the cheek. He rested his head there, on Kyungsoo's shoulder with his arms hanging loosely around his waist. Kyungsoo died in the inside, letting Jongin's toxic scent overwhelm him.
"Mmmm, you smell nice, like the roses in my grandma's old garden." Jongin whispered, his lips almost brushing Kyungsoo's ear.
The evening went by with just the two of them there. None of them wanted to move from their spot. They just wanted to cherish each other's company while they held each other. All worries about their past had been forgotten, for now.
