Jihoon stood outside the movie theater with two tickets in his hand. Soonyoung wanted to go get ice cream after they saw a movie which confused Jihoon.
He watched as a black van pulled up and a figure came out , the could only think it was Soonyoung because the boy was approaching him.
Soonyoung had on a mask and was wearing all black, probably trying not to be seen. Jihoon decides to play a joke and pretend he doesn't know who Soonyoung is.
"Hey! Ready to go?" Soonyoung questions and Jihoon looks at him with wide eyes, "Excuse me, I don't speak to strangers" he states before turning around and beginning to walk away.
He feels a hand wrap around his and he automatically freezes with a blush across his cheek. Soonyoung is quick to turn Jihoon around to face him, not letting go of his hand.
He uses his other hand to pull down his face mask slightly, "it's me!" Soonyoung states and Jihoon can't help but giggle, "yeah, I know. I was just joking around" he mumbles then pulls his hand away.
Soonyoung let's out a loud laugh and Jihoon just watches with a smile, he liked hearing Soonyoung laugh.
"That's a good one, shall we go see IT now?"
Jihoon nods even though he's a bit terrified on the inside. He's scared of horror films but he doesn't want Soonyoung to know that.
When they enter the theater, Soonyoung gave Jihoon money to buy the snacks while he waits on the side, making sure not to be noticed.
Jihoon gets one large popcorn and two medium slushee's, he also gets sour patch kids and when he gets everything, he calls over Soonyoung with actions so he wouldn't mention his name.
Soonyoung was quick to take the slushee's from Jihoon hand and Jihoon led the way to the theater.
They entered it and went straight to the middle, because the back was too far away, the front was too close but the middle was just right.
They took their seats and placed the popcorn in the middle, Soonyoung hands Jihoon his drink and they put it in the drink holder.
As the movie began, Jihoon didn't feel fear until the clown popped up and started chatting with Georgie, and then a crazy scene happened (saw the movie, refuse to spoil for others) causing Jihoon to jump and grab onto Soonyoung hand.
"S-Sorry" Jihoon mumbled pulling away awkwardly. Soonyoung didn't say anything but he did the unthinkable, he grabbed Jihoon hand and held onto it, the popcorn didn't matter to him as he held the smaller boys hand.
Jihoon couldn't help but blush and look at the screen, refusing to look at Soonyoung. He could feel Soonyoung drawing circles on the back of his hand, possibly a way to calm him down.
Soonyoung wasn't gay, at least Jihoon thought he wasn't but the butterflies in his stomach wouldn't go away, he couldn't have a crush on an idol, it wouldn't end well.
When the movie had ended, Jihoon had pulled his hand away and left quickly, Soonyoung having to speed up to catch up with him.
When they had exit the theater, Soonyoung grabs Jihoon's hand. "Slow down! I had to throw everything out in a rush"
Jihoon pulls his hand away and faces Soonyoung, "stop touching my hand !" he says, a bit upset.
He didn't want to get played, he didn't want to get left behind, it's happened before. He refused to fall for someone who would forget about him after a while.
"Calm down! What's the problem?" Soonyoung questions, looking around. He was glad that nobody was outside.
"You can't just hold someone's hand! You can't play with someone's emotions! I don't want to fall for you because you're an idol and you'll leave and forget me" Jihoon admits and then he's quickly covering his mouth.
"W-Wait? What?" Soonyoung whispers, a blush covering his cheeks, he quickly recovers and responds, "You're such an idiot"
Jihoon removes his hands away from his mouth, "Excuse me?"
"I like you, this was a date"
Jihoon stood there with butterflies, he didn't know what to say, so he did what he thought was right
