When Jihoon wakes up, it's because of his phone constantly going off.
He rubs his eyes tiredly before grabbing the phone, adjusting to the bright light on the screen.
When his eyes finally adjust, he looks at his screen in shock when seeing a picture of him and Soonyoung holding hands and kissing from the night before.
From Soonyoung👬💗: We can't do this anymore, I'm sorry. They took photos of us and I'm in a lot of trouble.
Jihoon read the text over and over again, trying to make sure he wasn't seeing anything.
"He's breaking up with me?" He questions himself, when the news finally settles in. He can feel the tears falling, his heart aching.
To Soonyoung👬💗: please don't, i love you
Jihoon sees that Soonyoung has seen his message but the boy doesn't reply, and that's when Jihoon completely breaks down. He knew the risks of being with an idol, he knew what could happen, he just wasn't expecting it to happen so soon.
He had work but he was afraid, he remembered what had happen before and now that it was confirmed that they were together, he knows he's bound to get attacked.
After what felt like an hour of crying, Jihoon gets up and gets ready for work. He doesn't talk to Minhyuk or Hyunwoo which they understand, the article was all over the internet and they had seen it as well.
When he was finally dressed, Hyunwoo had offered to walk him to work which he said yes to.
They placed on their coats and headed outside.
When they approached his job, there was reporters and fans all around. "There he is! This person was all over Soonyoung!" A girl yells and Jihoon feels actual fear.
There's girls recording as females start approaching and trying to attack him, only Hyunwoo trying to protect him.
"W-We were drunk! We aren't together! Please stop" Jihoon lies, he cries out as he feels nails dig into his cheek.
"Are you sure?!" One girl questions and Jihoon nods quickly and slowly the girls stop. Some girls look at him with guilt and some look in fear when cops begin approaching, most girls fleeing the scene.
"I-I cant believe that just happened" Jihoon cries out, Hyunwoo pulling him into his arms. "Thank you for protecting me" Jihoon whispers.
He knows not all fans are like that but now they scared him.
Jihoon didn't go to work that day, Hyunwoo took him right home after what happen. He ended up with two cuts on his face that Minhyuk cleaned as the smaller boy cried.
"I-I love him, and I want to be with him but not like this, not with those crazy fans and he broke up with me" Jihoon finally says to them, tears falling.
"You'll be okay, we love you. Do you want me to invite the others here to cheer you up?" Minhyuk questions and Jihoon shakes his head no.
They place bandaids on his cuts and then Jihoon thanked them before heading to his room to just sleep the day away.
"Min, it's all over the internet, the girls attacking him" Hyunwoo says, showing his boyfriend the screen, Minhyuk sighs sadly.
Jihoon lays in bed, his phone going off yet again. He wipes his tears and checks the screen.
From Soonyoung👬💗: IM SO SORRY! I CANT BELIEVE THEY HURT YOU! PLEASE CALL ME
Jihoon doesn't call him that night, or the rest of the nights.
