When Jihoon wakes up, he's alone. There's no Soonyoung, No Minhyuk, No Kihyun or Jooheon, there's nobody.
He turns to the side Soonyoung was on and spots a paper on the top of the dresser. He tiredly grabs it and reads it.
Dear Jihoon, I'm sorry I left before you woke up. It was easier to do, I didn't want to say bye, it would've hurt too much. It's a bit selfish and I'm sorry. I'm so happy I met you, I'm so happy I bumped into you at your old job and I'm happy Seungcheol invited you to our concert, I'm in love with you, I feel like I always will be. You're amazing Jihoon, you let me be myself, you went through so much to protect me and now you deserve someone who's going to protect you. Please don't be too sad, you can always text me for anything. Your flight back home leaves today, right? Be safe. If I'm ever back in Busan, I'll make sure to invite you to our concert. Anyways, I love you.
By the end of the letter, Jihoon is in full tears. He doesn't regret calling it off with Soonyoung, they both agreed on it but it still hurt.
He places the letter down and sighs. He gets up and gets washed up and dressed, trying his best to not cry anymore.
He wished Soonyoung would've stayed so he could hug him one last time. Tell him that he loved him too, but it was too late and he was going back home.
When he's finally dressed and ready, he exits his room and goes over to Hyungwon and Hoseok's room to find everyone inside.
"Hey, you're up. Soonyoung told us not to disturb you." Minhyuk states as he sits on the edge of one of the beds.
"Hey, are you crying?"
Minhyuk is quick to get up and rush over to his best friend.
"Hey what's wrong?" He questions with concern.
"He's gone and we're done" Jihoon whispers, tears starting up again.
Minhyuk already knew who it was about, and it broke his heart to his his best friend sad.
Minhyuk pulls Jihoon into his arms, holding him tightly as the smaller boy sobs.
