"Why're you bein' all depressin', Message Boy?" Tankou said, brandishing her blades.

"Like you said, fight till the last breath. We'll do just that," Neo hand signalled, taking the blade out of her umbrella.

The rest gave a nod, including the Atlas soldier. "You guys. . ." Mesagi shook his head.

"I hope what I am doing is worth it," Anphans said out. "Everyone, get down," he told them.

They ducked and Anphans used his semblance and pushed off all the Grimm away from them.

The others took opportunity of this and began killing the Grimm in their surroundings.

Liao, Anphans and Yang were surprisingly in sync, as they targeted the same Grimm and punched it all the way to the other side.

Mephisto and Tankou were on a literal killing spree, stabbing, slicing, clawing, etc. to all Grimm that they could lay their eyes on.

The Atlas soldier and Megu took cover of others, as Megu took out what seemed to be a halbert.

She swung the halbert towards Grimm, while the Atlas soldier kept shooting and covering the others.

Mesagi changed his katanas into hand held shotguns and began shooting all the Grimm with explosive rounds.

Neo was literally playing around with the Grimm, twirling herself while simultaneously slicing the Grimm.

Even so, the numbers continued to increase. "We can't fend them off much longer," Megu told them.

Suddenly, they heard gunshots, and it had killed some of the Grimm nearby.

They looked up, and saw several Atlas soldiers shooting the Grimm on the Osprey.

They then saw Solis shooting the Grimm with his tonfas with a really deadly accuracy.

"Hurry up!!" Solis yelled out, as the Osprey lowered down to reach their jumping height.

The first one to go was the Atlas soldier, as insisted by the others. Megu soon followed.

Liao and Yang got in soon after, and so was Anphans, Mephisto and Tankou.

The only ones left were Neo and Mesagi, as they continued to fend off the Grimm.

Neo eventually got onto the Osprey, but Mesagi was facing a big problem, as the Grimm kept coming into his face.

"HURRY UP, MESAGI!!!" Liao yelled out. "It's really hard y-ARGH!" Mesagi was cut off when an Ursa Major slashed him.

He barely dodged it, though it left a scratch mark across his chest, causing blood to ooze out.

Mesagi went and made a final dash, but then saw the same Ursa Major pouncing towards him.

Out of nowhere, the Atlas soldier they knew recently came behind Mesagi and was pounced on.

"RUN KID!!" He yelled out to Mesagi, who looked at him, before the Ursa Major slashed the soldier's throat.

Mesagi looked in shock as the man began losing blood quickly, and soon enough, the man's eyes showed to be empty.

This caused Mesagi to be in an emotional state, but kept it in, and got onto the Osprey.

The blades of the Osprey began flying upwards, and soon enough, flew forwards.

Once they got away from the now destroyed base, Mesagi began to cry.

"Why? Why him?" He muttered out between sobs. "He did is so we can all escape, bro. Sacrifices have to be made," Megu replied, holding onto the boy's shoulder.

This still didn't make Mesagi stop crying, but it eventually stopped, as he fell asleep, leaning against Neo.
