When we make it back, Dark's awake. There's an unsettling air to him, though, as if he's depressed. Ming you, he's hardly ever depressed. Not even when the mood swings kept messing him up. Depression just isn't part of him, I can tell. He's just sitting on the couch with a lighter blanket around him, staring at nothing with his knees drawn up and his arms around them.

"What's up with Dark?" I ask Akari, who's back into her work. Astral goes inside the Key.

"When he woke up, he tried to talk, or something along those lines. He got really depressed the moment only a choked sound came up," she explains, not looking up from her computer. "Oh, by the way, he's a little slow right now."

I look over to Dar. He's so quiet. I walk over to him.

"Dark, I'm going to take you to Cat's house," I say slowly so that he'll catch the words.

Dark nods. I don't think he knows what I mean, but the thought of him leaving here must be sweet. After all, this is where part of his soul was taken. He gets off the couch and turns himself human. He's pretty much Astral with his hair down and over his face, but his hair is white with small patched of Black/purple. His eyes are a muddy orange, and his skin is deathly pale. He leaves the blanket as we exit.

We walk to Cathy's house in silence. He keeps his head down, and he's shivering madly. He can hardly put one foot in front of the other without stumbling. It's very worrying.

We make it to Cat's house. The driveway's clear, so I know that her parents aren't home. I knock on the door. Cat opens it.

"Come in," she says.

"Cat, this is Dark," I say as we come inside. "He's Astral's dark side."

"Is something wrong with him?" Cat looks worriedly at Dark, who hasn't looked up yet. "He looks so depressed."

"Nii-chan...Naze desuka, Nii-chan...?" Dark's thoughts suddenly ring in my head. "Naze desuka...? Naze desuka...?" He starts shivering again.

"Come on, Dark," Cat says, taking his hand. She starts leading him to the back. "Come on. We don't wat you to die from hypothermia."

"Thanks, Cat," I sigh. "I hope he doesn't spoil any moods."

"It's fine, Yuma." Cat smiles. "See you tomorrow!"

I smile and step out. I walk back to my house.
