Four Years

Chapter 15 Natasha's Side

I look to my left and see Natasha, Elise, Katie, Annabel, Mark, Antonio, and Stacy. My face pales and I start to back up. Natasha says, "I just want to talk." I shake my head no. Tears escape Natasha's eyes and she whisper begs, "Please, five minutes." "You made it pretty clear how you felt when you sent that video and text" I say. Natasha stops walking towards me and looks confused. Natasha asks, "What video?" I reply, "Don't play stupid, you know damn well what video I'm talking about."

Natasha still looks confused. She looks at her friends and they look just as confused as her. "Do you guys know what video Harley is talking about" Natasha asks her friends. They either look at each other and shrug or say, "I have no idea." I roll my eyes and say, "I don't have time for this or want to play this game. Goodbye." I go to walk past them to the house when Ian walks out. Ian says, "Yo, so we were thinking of-" Ian stops speaking and his eyes go wide when he sees Natasha. I walk over to Ian while in the process of bumping into Natasha's shoulder hard when I pass her. I say, "They were just in the process of leaving." Natasha begs, "Please Harley, I've been trying to find you for four years. Just give me two minutes, hell I'll even take thirty seconds." I just look at Natasha and say, "Goodbye Natasha."

I go to walk into the house when Ian stops me by grabbing my arm. "What" I ask him annoyed because I have a feeling I know what he is going to say. He is going to say something about me giving Natasha a chance to explain herself. "Let her explain" he says. What did I tell you? I called it. Ian continues, "For all you know, you only know half the story. How do you think she feels?" I go to say something, but stop. He's got me there. He does have a point. I sigh and run my hand through my hair. Ian smiles because he knew he won. "Keep them distracted" I say. He nods his head.

I turn around and look at Natasha. "You have one minute, make it count" I say. Natasha smiles and says, "Thank you." I say, "Don't thank me yet." We walk over to the pier where we had our first kiss. "Talk" I say crossing my arms. "All I know is one second we are good and then out of nowhere you go and change your number. Since then, for the past four years, I have been trying to find you so that I could apologize for whatever I did wrong. I want what we had and so here it is, Harley, I am sorry for whatever I did" Natasha says.

I just stare at her. She looks nervous and she says, "Say something." "You're sorry" I say, "That's all you have to say after you played me and made me look like an idiot in front of your friends and they knew it. Whatever we had, it's over." I walk back to the house with Natasha not far behind me. "What are you talking about? I never played you. I never made you look like an idiot in front my friends. My friends adore you and were devastated when we split. Also, I never sent you a video." I stop in front of the house. I say, "Would you stop playing the innocent card and own up to what you said and did." Natasha says, "I would if I knew what you were talking about."

"Harley, who arethese people and why are you yelling at her" Shauna asks. I turn around and see Shauna and her friends. Ian mouths sorry. Awesome, this is just perfect.
